  1. Yup heard the lafferty one too. His contract at norwich is up at the end of the season & he may go this month with a pay off
  2. Anyone we sign needs to be good enough to go straight into the starting XI to improve the side. Otherwise pointless. We dont need any more squad players
  3. Without Garner we don't have the longball option.
  4. Absolutely no chance. The compliance officer is a yahoo who is out to help the yahoos not penalise them.
  5. Before we can think of winning the league we will need at least one striker capable of getting 20-25 league goals in a season. That won't be easy
  6. Dodoo hasn't had a decent run in the team so far. Very disappointing
  7. Why would we send him on loan to a non-league club?
  8. I've no idea what McKay earns but I bet it is much less than the likes of Wallace, Wlison, Halliday etc, etc. That needs to change. He needs to be offered a new deal on terms similar to those players I mentioned
  9. Before we start to think of signing anyone would it maybe a good idea to get Barrie McKay on a longer term contract. AFAIK his current deal is only til end of next season. After a slow start this season he has now more than adapted to the top division & is now showing himself to be invaluable to Rangers. Him & Foderingham were excellent yesterday. I fear we will get offers for both of them this month
  10. What we learned today or yesterday is we're not a million miles behind them. We were never winning the league this year no matter what certain elements of our support were saying. All he laughable forecasts of us losing by 3 or 4 goals never happened. We might have even won it in the end. What too many forget is the car crash McCoist left behind 18 months ago that MW and DW inherited. A total shambles. An absolute disgrace. They literally had 2-3 weeks to assemble a squad to get us back to the top division. They did that last season. But MW is on schedule IMO. We're second in the league & on course to return to Europe next season. Challenging for the title & beyond will be next season at the earliest. But I genuinely believe we will do that.
  11. I know this might not be popular but I think it's time to keep this within Rangers itself and not involve any other club.
  12. It might not be popular with some of us but I think we need to consider loan signings even if just in the short term. If we can't afford to pay serious money for quality players we need to look at other all other options if we want to catch the yahoos next season.
  13. Any players brought in next month must be good enough to go straight into the starting XI. We don't need any more squad players
  14. At the start of the season Barton, Krancjaer & Rossiter were signed presumably to make the 3 in the 4-3-2-1 formation we'd been playing last season. These signings never worked out for one reason or another & we're back to Halliday & Holt from last season with Windass thrown in who looks well out of his depth. Our MF today was well short of what we need & this need improved next month even if it's loan signings. We also need a physical presence up front who can get goals to play the 1 up front
  15. Didn't tavernier cross for Miller to score ? Their second goal however was like the ones we we lost at tynecastle where he was posted missing
  16. I remember that game against Motherwell when Mols got the four goals. All four were absolutely brilliant. No tap ins !
  17. Who are we playing games tomorrow - Pacific shelf 595 or HMS402 or their old 1888 company ? Can anyone enlighten me ?
  18. Vital MW and DW get their formation & tactics right for tomorrow. I'd go for 4-5-1 with Garner up front on his own. I don't think Miller can play that role as he concedes possession too easily. It's imperative we don't allow them space in MF hence the 5
  19. I'd like to see MOH up against Izaguerre.
  20. Yawn.......does anyone actually care what the daily Rhebel says ? And how's its circulation going ? Still falling hopefully.
  21. It's good to see Club1872 doing this but the reality is both Plod Scotland & the Scottish politicians are unwilling to confront the real issue here which is the vile football club from the east end & its equally vile support. You need only to look at the banners & hear their terrorist songs on matchdays to see what I mean. I hope Club1872 don't think the reassurances they got from Plod Scotland will be upheld. Just like the SC final they'll try to turn the focus on us when the real perpetrator got off relatively unscathed
  22. Whilst I'd agree his scoring record has been poor, Garner is the only forward who gives us the option of a longball. I'd like to see him & Dodoo play together. Miller is the player I'd like to see taken out the side.
  23. The answer is very simple. He latest compliance officer is another yahoo who is selective on which incidents he chooses to punish. Ones involving a Rangers player as the offender(Kiernan) will be punished. Where the Rangers player is the victim(Hill) will be overlooked
  24. What a load of utter nonsense from Plod Scotland. I'll start taking them seriously when they start to properly police the San Giro at yahoos home games. How many banners in support of Irish terrorism for starters ? And yahoos away games ? The IRA anthems ?
  25. I also think the expectation level was too high at the start of this season. Bringing in 11 new players for the top division was always going to be difficult. There's no way on this earth they were all going to be successful. In fact I'd say only Hill and Gilks have proved themselves beyond any doubt with Hodson and maybe Dodoo getting pass marks so far. The rest have struggled for one reason or another thro' injuries, loss of form, or being unable to make the step up. Moving these players out & replacing them with better quality will be the next big challenge for MW & DW
