Halliday for me. At the start of the season a team was literally thrown together. We were & still are lacking in certain positions inc. defensive MF. To his great credit Halliday has mostly played that role which isn't his best position by a long shot. By doing so he did it for the team & deserves much praise for that IMO for the contribution he has made

In all seriousness last night they reaped what they'd sown back in 2012. So have Hibz. St Mirren too. When they all took the Celt@c shilling back then & threw Rangers out the SPL in the name of sporting integrity what they didn't tell their supporters was that budgets were subsequently cut. The result was that the difference between the budgets of bigger clubs such as Dundee Utd & hibz and budgets of smaller clubs became mostly insignificant. And it started to show on the park. In the case of Dundee Utd it cost them their successful manager Peter Houston who left following having had his budget cut by something like half a million quid. They continued selling players to make ends meet(mostly to the yahoos) until the quality in their squad became so poor it didn't matter who the manager was. They were only going in one direction and that was down. If both Dundee Utd & Hibz supporters have any sense they'll do their utmost to get rid off Thompson & Petrie for the sake of their clubs and Scottish football in general. And replace them with individuals with their own clubs interest as priority and not being one of Liewell's nodding dogs

At around 17/18 the vast majority of youngsters stop progressing for a variety of reasons most of which coaches can do little about

I think MOH's problem was that we couldn't utilise his pace against teams who 'parked the bus' last season. Hopefully next season will be different. I'm sure it will.

The other issue is, given we've a small squad, we could have got key players injured in these four meaningless games.

Has done reasonably well this season but don't think we'll see too much of him next season. I expect a couple of strikers to arrive in the summer more suited to the system we now play than Miller is

Mad Phil was 'pursuing a vendetta' alright to show his bigoted hatred of all things Rangers. Is Hassan too stupid to see this or does he just not want to? What does he want McPherson or Traynor to apologise about? Unless I'm mistaken there is a forthcoming fraud trial a to what went on at Rangers. Again is Hassan too stupid to realise this or does he just not want to?

I certainly hope Liewell is doomed. His excessive influence at the SFA has led the hooped hordes to believe he could do just about anything & keep us under the cosh. That clearly is not the case and they're baying for blood. The SFA knew there was nothing they could do to prevent King becoming Rangers chairman. Nor should they.

Perhaps the yahoos will ask the SFA why they passed Whyte fit & proper. I don't recall the yahoos complaining when he got Rangers despite the warnings from PM & others. The only reason the yahoos are doing this is to try & destabilise everything King & his board have done since they got in. They will not succeed and they know it

The reason I'd suspect many don't sign up to the CCC scheme is they don't want to go to every away game. That's why I don't sign up to it

I would say also I didnt like the team MW picked tonight. I'd have preferred two out of three from MOH, Miller & King as its leaves us short in MF.

I think the break after the St Mirren game will do us good. Some of our players look knackered after a long hard season. And hopefully Waghorn will be back for the SC final

Another totally unacceptable result & performance. We are starting to look out of sorts up front again and that's worrying for the SC final

Surprised some not convinced by Foderingham. I think he's been one of the major successes this season

The financial prizes in Scottish football are derisory & are testimony to the utter failures of both Regan & Doncaster
