    In the cold light of day i think it is the pay off that is keeping am in a job.. I think celtic have just got themselves a better manager and probably not on allys wage. (was on 200k at stromsgodet)

    Board will be reassured that sos founder is backing fans to continue to back the team just not through st's. They will probably gamble that enough will pay on the day. In meantime is it possible that by holding back st purchases this just gives them carte blanche to raise cash any other way they can ie favourable loans by directors, share issues that will further strengthen the shareholders that are already entrenched!

    Davie wier was a ch that strolled through games. Miller's trick has always been his pace. Just hope he still has it? I think he will do alright. My beef is that two years down the line and loads spent on guys who were supposedly good enough to get us back to the top tier and guess what. We are panic buying oldies.

    I'm no lover of saf but i think the comparison was appropriate. Even a manager at his level and club the size of mu had his finger on the pulse of every player at his club.. We nned that level of commitment at rangers..

    Not trying to muddy the waters at all. I think both sides are managing just fine without my keyboard hitting prowess!

    Just asked the question as i would imagine the uof do not want to play their hand in public just as the club do not . I suppose the uof could rise above that and declare full extent of support or be caught in the trap of keeping info secret for business reasons, as many businesses, inc rangers, do. However that is often called a " lack of transparency" .
