Just one small example. At beginning of this season past derek mcinnes had a meeting with all the youth academy coaches and all the scouts. He set out the type of player he wants coming through their system. Didn't help my lad as he was bombed out (midget with fast feet). The point is not whether mcinnes is right, the point is he has set his agenda on that club from top to bottom. They all know who the boss is and what he wants. From comments by gunslinger re telfer, and elfid(sorry cant recall name, you know who i mean) i doubt that this is happening down murray park.. Ps - this is at 12 year old ages and up...

Barca, lets be blunt. We have an atrocious manager. A decent one would have had the team playing good football, good signing policies, ie players for positions to fit the system of play etc.. Would have established a scouting system of sorts etc etc. If you do not believe that we could get some good candidates if advertised, paid for within ally and co's salary structure then i respect your position but cannot agree with it

Is two years in the lowest divisions not enough time to rebuild properly? any half decent manager would have done this never mind what was going on in the board room.
  4. No lack of dross and deadwood ready to ship out after they have been Allyfied!
  5. Hopefully this is true and not just another smoke screen to "appease" the season ticket switherers, that comes to nothing. Ps it wont work if mr mc is allowed to continue to do it his way.
  6. Worth noting that when a persons wealth is "calculated" it is a value of all their assets eg, property, businesses etc. It is not a reflection on how much ready cash he has sloshing around in his man bag looking for a new home.. it was the same with mcoll..
  7. For security reasons would the club be allowed to just issue 10000 tickets not knowing who they were going to?
  8. I was thinking he was a priest oops sorry minister..lol
  9. He's a complete effing fruitcake. Interesting as this is a big gamble by their board..
  10. Must be doing a "homer" then...
  11. Question now is how many of the non renewers are going to turn up every home game. Looks like board banking on income game by game now. Pretty sure sos founders have said they will still be there every game but no st money for the club.
  12. He should do fine for championship level but heres the problem. St mirren plucked him from cowdenbeath and developed him to lower spl standard. Thats what we should have been doing these last couple of years at much lower salary costs than we have been blowing. If you find a real gem then he stays on for top tier blah blah i wish the lad well it's not him that pisses me off but you know who...
  13. All that speil and no comment on the effect of withholding st cash and the possibilty that that has been the trigger to go ahead with share issue that is only going to benefit the people uof wanted ousted. No comment on david kings stance, the sound of silence reigns supreme. Deflecting onto the old jack irvine stuff is purile. for what its worth i'm no supporter of this board/majority shareholders as i think they could ruin us again, very easily.. This statement adds nothing..
  14. to be fair that is how most of our contracts should have been last two years, with a few exceptions where we picked up quality players or good youngsters.
  15. "Their grip is tightening" surely not a surprise is it??? Did sos/uof etc consider that by with holding st monies that this was most likely way that board would raise cash. Or did they just "hope" that the investors would throw in the towel. The more they invest the more they will want back if we do go the wall, hence fears about ibrox etc are real.. Anyway until it is all confirmed we can only speculate..
  16. Oh well i put in sons of trust on fb and up popped sons of truth. Quite amusing that you directed us to a group set up to directly oppose the sos. After a quick read found it to be as uplifting as sos page..
  17. Aye fair do's GS you were close to the source on this one. You've set the bar high so i expect all your comments to come true. Lol What an all round fucking shambles we are in!
  18. Not a bad thing. As long as the arbitration is fair it will either be the case that the two years applies or not. Better that we know either way.
  19. Reads well. Good example that we should remember our heroes for their on pitch exploits. performance of park mostly disappoints...
  20. Tbh i've no idea how prevalent use of youth was back then or average age etc. Just pointing out that dj at 16 was no way "ready" to be played, but the manager saw something and took a chance. Why someone who got his break in that manner can be so dismissive now baffles me.
