  1. yeah that's the exact reason I thought it should be more prevalent here. Why get rid of an unwanted asset for nothing when you could swap an asset for another more needed asset. Looking at canixiha's signing history it seems common in Mexico
  2. Be interesting to see if we do swaps this year noticed the managers used that route before . Should be more common in Scotland than it is
  3. Cannot wait for that first away trip! It's been the biggest loss to me of the six years. Pre season friendly trips are good but it's not the same
  4. We are talking about people employed by the club. We have the same network as we always had. What we lost was the employed scouts, those people who work exclusively for the club.
  5. Wish the boy all the best for the future but think it's a terrible move for him
  6. What other scouts do you expect? Very few teams have teams of scouts looking for senior players that's what the network of contacts are for. Usually 1-2 senior scouts who watch teams is enough. Scouts are predominately for youth football.
  7. Think the only time the club has mentioned it publicly was in a RTV interview of Mullholland. It's a disgrace we have not told the fans more.
  8. Evidence? We in court? It's an opinion BH that's what debating forums are for. It's pretty obvious from press conferences and the performances on the park that several players have chucked it and look completely lost on the park. Anyone with a modicum of tactical knowledge can see they're not moving in and out of phases properly . As for the Capain what stomach injury can you get that keeps you out for nearly a month? Sounds like a likely excuse plus he seems missing from non footballing duties too. Strange for a captain not to travel through to games even when injured or to do zero press or charity work when he's fully mobile.
  9. today's result mirrors our game previously against them even though we had a far weaker side out today. What was the average age of the squad today?
  10. one thing i like about the manager that i haven't seen mentioned is the fact he has pulled no punches. Hes came in seen the attitude of the squad stinks but instead of the usual trying to mollycoddle the premadonnas hes immediately publicly slammed the attitude then set about removing the worst offenders. He has basically said this lot need to go their hearts not in it. No excuses no preamble just this is how i see it .agree or get someone else in. what utter dross that piece is. Some of those players were put forward to celtic by Canixiha! how can they still not know this?!!!!
  11. Not done the numbers but would take a stab we have better goals for and also against since he came in. Certainly had more clean sheets in his short time than during the rest of the season combined
  12. good to see they have no idea what goes on at ibrox. Think 10-15 scouts have been added to the roster. Notice the piece is lacking in any sort of facts. No number of our scouts against another team etc no comparison of structure or anything remotely approaching such. Just another ill informed opinion masquerading as investigative sports journalism. Bet any money the guy who wrote this couldn't tell us the first thing about our scouting network or structure. Gets his stories from online forums me thinks. The club should be communicating things like this better to the support mind you. Obviously our scouting network still needs work but ill informed articles lacking in any factual basis don't help anyone.
  13. just the one?
  14. He's the captain of a squad who show no fight and disagree with the managers approach. My opinion obviously but i think he will be told to find himself another team.
  15. from that list think Waghorn and Garner will stay plus wallace and Mckay will go.
  16. Yeah would imagine so, taking it that they have obviously thought of that and the players identified must be attainable though you never know ?
  17. don't know every detail mate only know that all contractual obligations where met on the player side. Tbh have not heard of any staff who was not paid or lost wages ( that's not to say it didn't happen just that nobody I have spoke to our know at the club ever mentioned losing wages etc) the club even paid out the usual staff bonus and presents at xmas as if administration hadn't happened.
  18. spoke to people at the club yesterday to ask a question a member on here had posted. During that conversation Was told the manager has passed his findings to the board and the player list is predominately made of Portuguese and Mexican players.
  19. all contracts that had not been voided where met in full. In the case of SN etc that said we were dead I'm not 100% tbh if they demanded the money or wrote it off. The Mexican and Portuguese players Canixiha has identified will do a far better job and in my opinion will show the type of character we need whilst also being able to follow the tactical side of training that the Scottish players can't.
  20. They didn't lose a penny. They made a profit from the situation. The wages you allude to where deferred. As you said there is a massive difference from thinking something to knowing something. These players couldn't even wait long enough to know.
  21. that was through choice. They had never missed a penny they were due not one. They were talked into leaving for the monetary gain by their agents. All of them made money by leaving that was the goal , fear was just the excuse. To even consider a player who said our club was dead and only team sevco remained is disgusting and shows a real lack of character. Happy to say none of the old players are on the list from pedro so the argument is thankfully mute and I don't have to watch our strip being desecrated
  22. What Bobby left out was the fact they had never missed a penny of their wage they are also in the majority multi millionaires who do not have the same monetary concerns as the working man. They were also working for a company who in its 150year history had never once failed to pay a player. They had absolutely no reason not to wait till the transfer window. Any loss of wage could easily have been worked into any transfer arrangement. But of course their wage was always paid anyway.
  23. your ignoring the fact the player is a coward. How does signing a coward to replace players that are not up for the fight help? That's just continuing the problem. Naismith proved without a doubt he doesn't have the stomache for a fight when the chips are down. He would just join those in the squad already who don't want to accept less holidays and and want to stick to the old ways of playing.
  24. Can't give you official confirmation but I can promise to the best of my knowledge and I am happy once again to stick my neck out. £5m transfer budget with an increase to first team budget of 20% plus any income generated through sales. The only way that will not be what we do is if there is a buy out.
  25. maybe but personally hope more care for Rangers than beating them
