All very interesting. Agree with much of what he says. No complaints from me. Let's hope next season hits targets

Watching the game back and noticed a couple of mins in Tav gets caught on the ball , he then wins it back with no harm done but the camera cuts to PC who is shouting what looks like "I told you two touches maximum" he gestures to him with his hands also. After that I noticed it was all pretty much touch and pass

I remember being a 13 year old up at gleddoch where me and my mate were members and spent a lot of time. The youth members had their own separate lounge with a snooker table. Went to go in one day with my mate and Barry Ferguson (captain at the time I think) was in there with Craig Moore and a couple of other players. Think it was Bob Malcolm and maybe Charlie Miller but memory is failing . Anyway as we entered the room shocked to be presented with several of our idols BF barked at us to get the fuck out. Shocked we turned to leave when Craig Moore told him to get a grip and asked us in. This lead to a full blown argument with BF stating he didn't want fucking pain in the arse kids hanging around and a few other choice terms to call kids he had never met before. The other players told him where to go so he flung the cue down and stormed off. After that we were treated to a great hour or so by the others ,playing snooker etc until they were called away by DA. That memory will always be the measure of the man for me. A complete scumbag who was an embarrassment as Rangers captain. Had the privilege of meeting many players when I was young and nobody else ever acted with such distaste as he did.

Would be livid if true

Its fluid to say the least. Cant remember if it was the villareal game last night or the bristol game, but they scored a goal and straight away i was thinking i wished we had a forward who was as intelligent in his runs. Their right back had the ball in the typical tavernier position with the forward making a run to split the two center halfs but just before the RB put his foot to the ball the forward switched and darted in front of the CB getting his toe to the low cross scoring from 16-18 yards. If we could get our forwards to think like that we would score a barrel load -

the pressing is fantastic. Be interesting to see if we can keep it up for the full game. A very promising start with loads of wee tactical things to talk about. Its great to be talking about how good we are doing at playing the game we all love. -

who do you see on the right Miller? Looks to me like holt and hyndman sitting with miller, toral and mckay in front with waghorn through the middle although going to be fluid i take it with mckay when in possession wide and advanced. The right side needs some serious work come summer. -

PRESS CONFERENCE | Pedro Caixinha | 16 Mar 2017
trublusince1982 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
More than just words can be taken his methodologies are more than words, they're methods? The way he is breaking down the game into 4 scenarios and linking them to behaviour is fantastic. If we react in the correct way we are halfway there. His words are detailing his actions rather than being rhetoric -
Dave King has promised he WILL back new boss Pedro Caixinha

We have been spending more than enough to hit our targets. Money is not the issue its our skill at identifying and negotiating that have been lacking. We need the DoF in place before summer -
Some of our players are absolutely dreadful at pressing the ball. It's good to see its being worked on hard Had to laugh at the bit at the end where you can see big senderos sucking up to the manager??

If one player pays back his loan is that not precedence that confirms its a loan? Still can't get my head round why we couldn't have nipped this in the bud immediately -
Good to see them looking knackered at the end

Try taking the s out of http Pete sometimes works

He wants his assistant to be a local. He will have nothing to do with coaching more to do with opposition tactics and local mentalities etc do's and don't' sort of thing

This managerial appointment is embarrassing
trublusince1982 replied to Ser Barristan Selmy's topic in Rangers Chat
Seen a few comments that the new manager won't be coming into gersnet to see the negative posts that is true in essence but in reality all the major fans forums are watched closely with fan felling generalised and added as part of the managers daily media brief so he is aware of fan feeling before facing the media and also so they can second guess questions that will be asked. The manager will be made aware of the fans surprise at his appointment across message boards -
The first of SR videos explaining the appointment is now available on the official YouTube channel. Remember and subscribe to the channel guys the more subscribers the more money the club can generate thro ads etc. Admittedly lacking in explanations of the process and more about the new coach and what attributes attracted us. Hopefully the next vid will describe the structure of interview process and our recruitment methods along with more detail on the wanted infrastructure and why

Wallace concentrating on defending helped yesterday too. It's the most resilient I have seen us my point was our defence might be poor this season but with work actually taking place at training on set pieces etc confidence can hopefully be found and help minimise the nervous mistakes like hilts and hills early on. It's a tough ask for 2nd now but must be our aim and fully appreciated if we make it. The 5 games before the split are massively important, we can't drop points. Don't think we will see much change in formation etc just a lot of work on building confidence in what we are doing and work on positioning
-
Has Archie Knox retired? Or Ian Ferguson Wouldn't go near Barry Ferguson he would be against dietary conditions and progressive thought and would only encourage the old boys club network ruining the whole point of this appointment
-
In his interview he mentions the importance of mental toughness and that he will start work on this area For me it was the biggest difference between the two sides yesterday. Both defences are terrible but ours was nervous in top of that
-
He speaks well. Best of luck to the guy and here's hoping the players take to his methods
