Yes, and that is both inevitable and understandable given all his other interests. However, the steer given by him to those delegated layers, although brief, will be pointed and not to be trifled with. I'd love to know what it is. Actually I fear I do, but I'd love to know either to be sure or to be relieved.

It'll be interesting putting pseudonyms to faces. Not as interesting as the Alba dancers, mind you...............

Thanks, Ian. It's hard to see this ending well. I've a feeling Ally and Ashley may never speak because Ally is not the only one thinking "I have no real need to".

Alloa chairman confirms game will go ahead next week
SteveC replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
"We feel no matter what team we put out, with the squad we have we are capable of giving them a game " is this a pre-emptive strike in case of failure? AS in paving the way, were points to be dropped, for: "We gave them as good a game as we were capable of with the squad I was left with." (i.e. = blame the board)? -
"illegible" / "legible"? Surely not - illiterate / literate perhaps? .............. Only having fun due to the context, no offence. I cannot stomach those pages.

Interesting indeed with more players missing than there was for the last call off.. Wonder what the difference is? Oh yes, this one is at home and there is a new focus in the boardroom. Like COwdenbeath had to suffer, we'd have been near 6 weeks without a home game. "To be fair" to COwden though, Ally assure d it it was the right thing to do to them "to be fair". -
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Only just saw this. Thanks for the notice though. My fault I didn't see it till now. Confuses the hell of me to see the likes of Luca G playing for us again and then in Airdrie's team at the weekend.

Yes, the stadium was in a sorry state the last time I was there and that was not this season.....

Nice round number. All that journalists in the UK can cope with. The "0"s are easier to to do with their crayons. Every transfer over £7 million automatically become £10 million within a day as £7,350,000 is just too hard for them to cope with.

Well just because Messi was at right back, no need to change Lee's status

Sorry pal, you've lost me................

I'd take Hearts, Hibs or Falkirk at 100/30 so I will be taking us too

Those with jobs coud take a half day's flexi or leave, or a full day. Or leave early. Far more over drinking on a Wednesday at 8 than a Sunday at 1, I'd have thought.

Well, I cannot imagine it being favoured by the Police. FFS, a day's drinking on top of all the tension and hatred....

Only if the "1" is Foster playing the holding midfielder role. (And someone who is not a right back is playing there)
-
Well, yes - but we know that by now, surely!

I was going to press "thanks"....but thought it inappropriate!

You don't have to wear it though, you just have to buy it. I bought three red and black scarves and I never wear a scarf. -
David Somers appointed (temporary) executive chairman

At least, then, he's not putting on a false appearance then, like the rest of his lot, who, are never what they purport to be. As Bob Dylan sang: Could be the Führer Could be the local priest You know sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace He got a sweet gift of gab, he got a harmonious tongue God alone knows, we've had enough of them- 19 replies

Yes that is an interesting thought, Rab. Undoubtedly we would fear the worst, despite all we were told re Newcastle. We are conditioned into expecting bad news after the last few years. How we'd have reacted a decade ago, I am not sure as a whole. I'd have been worried, I always fear the worst or what I thought was the worst. Rangers have proved that my "worst" was passively rosey.....

I have been in amongst Man City fans at Old Trafford (they won 5-1!) when they were all singing the Munich Disaster song. That was some quarter of a century ago but I've heard it since and from Liverpool and Leeds fans too. I think there's a difficulty for those of us at a certain age regarding not being hypocritical here....I don't know about younger folk but I'd be interested in knowing if no-one makes such tasteless jokes nowadays. "Sick humour" is pretty established in the UK. I remember jokes re individuals from Natalie Wood to Princess Di , from horrific illnesses and disasters from Thalidomide to Tsunami (a joke I heard 20 times that day lost Rodney Marsh his job), It's a minefield of an area, this.
