  1. We all know that all eyes (and ears!) will be on us tomorrow It was clear last week at motherwell that some morons - and i use that word as it IS what i think of them - chose to sing certain songs louder than ever Can you PLEASE wisen up for tomorrow's game. Whilst we are certainly persecuted in the majority of the country's press, while we have no doubt been misrepresented at times, and while there is also no doubt over the fact that certain songs have been condemned that there is absolutely nothing wrong with (Hugh Keevins stand up please!) ..... none of this is a reason for us to continue giving UEFA the ammunition they need to shut down our stands or dock points from us. let our new PR consultants do the talking off the pitch for us, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider your behaviour if you are going to Ibrox tomorrow ..... If you truly consider yourself to be a fan of Glasgow Rangers (and we are a FOOTBALL CLUB after all) then please realise that silly actions will only hurt the club we all love further .... please don't make this fan give us hope, and his season ticket
  2. Definitely high praise indeed, let's hope he is as good as Dr Jo says!!
  3. Nil by mouth are an utter disgrace ... even though i dont think FF can take the moral high ground, their response to such a complaint is a joke, but sadly, not anything different from what i expect from such a sorry crowd of tim sympathisers
  4. Brilliant ..... absolutely brilliant!
  5. The usual odious denial from the greatest fans in the world who seem to be confused as usual as to what the problem seems to be! One even went on to talk about our new PR reps possibly being the people reporting Celtic, as a tactic to divert the attention from Rangers!! I think the Rangers support has differed .... some people want to carry on the songs, some people (most i think) dont .... but we seem to agree about the content of them - the Celtic fans are so blinkered that they just cant see a problem at all
  6. Anyone know what it's gonna look like? Would imagine a french flag in there somewhere
  7. I agree Some fair points made by Cammy above too, though, but in my experience most people down south just mock and belittle Scottish football, and i have no time for those people whatsoever
  8. That kind of letter really annoys me, but doesnt surprise me ...... this country is full of uneducated idiots. Much as i dont really care for songs like GSTQ, i always laugh at away fans booing it and waving a rampant lion at us ..... ye know, that flag that is the ROYAL standard of Scotland Sadly, there are so many uneducated buffoons out there, like the one that wrote the letter in question Mind you, i wouldnt mind seeing saltires on all shirts, if only to see the uproar at a blue and white flag on the Tic top!!! Remember all the fuss with the Peoples sponsorship .... Peoples written in orange, with a small blue and white ford badge Also, have the jambos copied us too .... im sure they have a saltire on the back of their shirt now?
  9. Good move .... lets hope they do better (cant really do worse i suppose!)
  10. I enjoy a bit of banter, but i dont think everything english should be scoffed at ... but i also think we need to realise sometimes that people down south dont really give a fuck about us or our club, and that we are a Scottish club in the end
  11. Translated the page on google, but it certainly doesnt confirm anything ...... it's more of an expected transfer!
  12. I think Calscot made some good points there The tim made his points in a very bad way, but a lot of them are generic and would have applied as much to us, as they would to the manky mob As for the Portsmouth replies, well, it does just show up the complete ignorance of a lot of English people when it comes to anything Scottish, yet elements of our support seem to have some desire to be like them!
  13. What i hate is everytime one of their directors, etc, issues a reminder to fans, it's always along the lines of 'we dont have to worry' and 'we have a great record / UEFA award' etc So why the fuck issue a reminder then, if they are so perfect? No, they have a problem, they just dont want to admit it!
  14. well said cammy, Celtic fans keep taking this moral high ground, but i noticed too that there is an appeal out to them to stop their chants too .... so lets sort ourselves out and put the pressure onto them! ... and to the idiots who want to keep singing these songs ...... WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO REALISE WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO OUR CLUB? If you want to sing those songs, fine ....... just fuck off and do it somewhere else!
  15. They certainly do .......... unfortunately, the likes of Speirs and Dung are more widely available to spread their written muck!! Fair, balanced journalism, with a message for both sides ........ never thought i'd see the day in Scotland
  16. Yep, i know Cammy ........ and i would love to hear the sanitised version of it again
  17. What an article! It's a shame we dont have more like this ... especially like the comments about the disgraceful Nil by Mouth organisation
  18. Surely we need to replace, rather than just stop singing. We need alternative, non basterdised versions of songs
  19. Yep, read that too It won't vanish overnight, but some of the morons who follow our team to away games need to have a good look at themselves ... they are spoiling things for the majority. It will be easier to eradicate at Ibrox, but not so easy at away games
  20. He will have to work bloody hard to get back into the team i think, and if he does, it would be as cover for the midfield in my view, i think he's a poor right back
  21. We wont make progress until we have a SERIOUS clear-out of these idiots at a home game ..... ok, it might stop short of causing a riot, but we only need to do it once to get the message across. Get more stewards in there, and weed out these arseholes, because if we get banned from europe, or lose points in the SPL because of them, then my ticket is being sent back to Mr Murray
  22. I've always been quite depressed about the state of our youth coming through, especially when you seen the amount of tims in the U19 squad for Scotland, but after seeing Charlie Adam (saw him a few times with St Mirren last year) it has cheered me up a bit. When you think of Smith, Hutton, Boyd, Adam, Burke, etc, we aint short of good young Scottish players at Rangers
