That is 'Black Knight' of Monty Python territory rather than a Noble French swordsman. That almost surprises me, coming from you.....but tbh, not any more.
-
You are making a fool of yourself now.

Do you agree with any ? Do you believe that the behaviour of those in and around the various incarnations of the board weren't the biggest single reason for the sudden drop in ST numbers ? yes or no ?
-
I know the large drop in ST sales has the chronic lack of transparency, trust and evidence of money being creamed from the club as the single biggest reason as to the sudden drop because it's obvious, as night follows day. Of course it isn't the only reason, I make that clear. The standard on the pitch has been fairly consistent during McCoists reign, no sudden drop....it's been generally poor. FWIW, I have never thought McCoist would cut it as a manager (since January 2007 when provisional agreement was fudged) but the sp.ivs of the day (2012) didn't really care because he was worth his weight in penny shares to help get them started and proved useful at certain junctures to keep tugging at the heartstrings of supporters and endorse X, Y or Z. The Omnishambles that is Rangers at all levels has been allowed to develop and fester because of the lack of effective, honest executive management from the sp.ivs. When they did come up with a footballing strategy of sorts, there was no money to fund it with and instead of recognizing the need for transparency and connecting in a meaningful way with the support they continued down the same patronizing, foggy, misleading, dishonest and dogs dinner of a path that has so characterised those in and around the RIFC board throughout. Many of the support had had enough. Engage the brain, it's not black or white (or as you once followed when previously not engaging grey matter, Whyte and Green). It's an Omnishambles, but you must appreciate where the root cause is for the club's plight and where the order of priority must lie. By all means change the manager but we have been managed to the point where there is doubt about whether it is viable to so do and it wouldn't change the direction this club and their assets are being steered.
-
It's a matter of priorities and their order. Until the 'situation upstairs' is resolved satisfactorily, the long term interests/survival of Rangers, including the football operation will remain secondary whoever is in the dug-out.

IS ALLY McCOIST'S POSITION UNTENABLE? asks the Herald....

Tbh I doubt he'll be looking for another dug-out, he'll be looking for a TV studio. Nor do I think he has to worry about 'putting bread on the table' for the rest of his days. Hypothetically, what it might mean is that he wants to maximise what he is contractually owed so as make the bank balance an even softer comfort blanket. This however may be impossible for RIFC to pay and Ally's agent may need to negotiate considering various issues, including how an insolvency event may effect it and Ally's credibility if certain details (re.renumeration/most probably already mentioned on here) were to be made very public. The writing has been on the wall for Ally for a long time and IMO he should have left at the end of last season. He didn't and with the 'untouchable status' wearing ever thinner could only expect things to get ugly if the football remained the same. He deserves no sympathy, he's used all his 'credit'. -
Just to be clear, the biggest single reason why there is such a large drop in ST take-up is that the support don't trust the people in and around the RIFC board and that is where the root cause of the whole omnishambles lies. Rangers performing badly under McCoist is nothing new and the board have failed to implement any meaningful steps regards new footballing strategies that came from the business review. They point to the lack of money (ST numbers) but the onus is/was on them to change there ways and win the trust of the support, they haven't and continue to patronise the support with spinning bullshit. Further to the Rangers Soap Opera, upstairs it appears as if it might be financially challanging to make any significant changes in the downstairs dug-out. We are no longer a normal football club, we are an OMNISHAMBLES that is run by people we might or might not know for their profit. The football operation is failing because of upstairs, that is what is squeezing the life out of the club.

The 'impotence' line looks like a bit of 'naughtiness' or perhaps English isn't his first language. Perhaps its an 'age thing' and the journalists and editors of today can't spell.

............aged 10 and three quarters. Neil won a competition by his local school and was shipped into fill Lindsay Herron's old role for a day. Rumour has it that the Merlin McMurdo role might now be in young Neils sights given he has a master of cut and paste from e-mails he is sent.

I recall you mentioning it the other day. It's a pity Bet365 didn't run a market or you could have been quids in. When involved within an omnishambles it must effect all that get involved one way or another. Should see the quote attributed to McCoist on the official site (already being discussed on a different thread).

Only at the Omnishambles that is Rangers.

IS ALLY McCOIST'S POSITION UNTENABLE? asks the Herald....

You don't need to persuade me but Andrew McCormick (his agent/advisor) may prove more difficult to convince. What McCoist will look for is a 'credible exit' that will pay. If his credibility is under threat he may be less difficult to deal with. As for credibility as a football manager, he has none and will never get offered another first team job by a team at any reasonable level. -
Don't spoil ra joke They somehow calculated an answer of 4,265,000 for what should have been 0 and apparently Paul Shackleton won't be getting an invite to 'Countdown' after all.

A NOMAD without enough money to buy a calculator ? Or enough reliability or reputation for a bank to give them a loan to be able to buy one.

Because it doesn't work with managers at football clubs for what I would think to be obvious reasons. FC's have to find a way to change the manager immediately if a decision has been made that a manager has come to the end of his 'usefulness'. When they try and mark time awaiting the final day, the team invaribly loses any effectiveness or cohesion it may have had. If there was nothing to play for then ok but that isn't the case. -
Regulatory notices up re the HH / and BNP (for faceless one) trade. http://rangers.g3dhosting.com/regulatory_news_article/400 http://www.rangersinternationalfootballclub.com/regulatory-announcements Note the swift 'correction',............. useless barstewards.

Sir Duped of Murray better be careful if he's talking to all those 'rogues', he might get 'duped' again.

STV Reporting both Boyd and Mohsni offered suspensions

I doubt Mr.Nash would sanction the 2,000 pounds required to appeal given the visible case for the prosecution and IMO, he'd be right. Would need to look closely regards the Hibs player (v Boyd) but that isn't really relevent now. I'd guess the compliance officer has looked very closely and judged that the 'forwards motion' with heid comes from KB. This might mean the Hibs player has played the situation in a 'cute' manner looking for the reaction. I think Boyd has been looking generally frustrated of late and his action here wasn't surprising. -
Perhaps Rafat is out at the Normady stables riding your man Chuck's horses and discussing business, then perhaps not. Guess that might be contingent on French extradiction treaties !!

McGregor into the centre for Moshni and hopefully to stay there. Boyd doesn't look very interested and if McCoist is going to persit with the high ball then Daly might be a better target man Edit - Let's stay on topic here please, thanks. ~Z -

Between The Sun and the Hearld, they have literally slaughtered McCoist and the suddenness of their change in tact will hit home with McCoist himself as the moment the 'Birthday Suit' was no longer visible. He now knows how precarious his current situation is regards credibility but perhaps also that the club can't afford to sack him or possibily even pay for a replacement whilst he tends to his garden. It'll be interesting to see his next press conference where he might prefer to talk about club politics and finances. Only at the Omnishambles that is Rangers. -
Didn't expect anything else.
