Rumours circulated Glasgow last night that James Easdale had spoken in an RIFC board meeting. An Ibrox insider told the 'Sunday Morning Probe' that James was "fair excited" after earlier in the day being given 15 minutes on the internet by his brother, Sandy. The 'quiet man' James Easdale put forward a revolutionary idea to as he said "make those b**t**ds who ask awkward questions shut-up", this was to be at the click of a mouse and not cost all those lawyers fees, which didn't even work. The insider went on to tell us how the other directors were stunned at the big man's intervention as he usually sat there happy drawing wee pictures, David Somers even stopped munching on his third pie. Then James told them of his cost-cutting idea, "just stiick the b**t**ds on the ignore option". At this point the directors looked at each other and then promised James some new Krayons next week. Disclaimer: The above is an attempt at humour. No offence is intended.

Possibly produced in batches. ie. once a certain number is reached the order to produce is made. With so many being ordered it may mean delivery times are reduced. On the other hand, I may be talking bunkum and balderdash.

Summer transfer window: Official ins/outs and transfer rumours
buster. replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
It's a good example of the joint failure of both financial and football operation management. Many don't realise what an omnishambles of a club we presently are. -
Lawyer who enjoys his courtime, is told to return the call of a Rangers director who wants a threat of legal action for defamation to be posted to X: "Aw FFS, no again ! Annie, just send the sameone as the last time but remember to change the names."

There is often a bad smell close to our Toxic friend and I don't doubt this will be any different. I'd be curious to know of MH/Irvine's renumeration package and payments from Rangers throughout 2013 and 2014. I believe Irvine and his ongoing remit to be one of the most important longterm tools used against the support beginning from when SDM brought him on board. It sowed and reaped division to a degree that made us much easier to influence, control and play against each other.

I'd forgotten how close Watson was to Irvine.

Easy, tick the first two boxes. The postcard gives you the option of defining the issue(s) anyone may have. In fact, STB could go along aswell, not tick any boxes (if he doesn't agree with the points) but detail his gripe about the football management in the space for 'other reasons'.
-
The SOS as a group don't seem to advocate a change in football management at this point in time and have other priorities. However that doesn't stop you as an individual or within a group of those you mention, putting your point forward in the manner you chose.

- What percentage see lawyers letters/sherriff officers as a good way to engage and communicate ? - What percentage like to see disengenuous club statements as a way to engage and communicate ? If they seriously want to broach the issue of 'engage and communicate' then do so with transparency and honesty.

There is a space left for 'other reasons'.

No, that is a seperate issue.

They've tried before with unsuccessful 'bluff tactics', that or they are completely incompetent and not fit fot purpose. They failed or have learnt something. They also now know that Mr.Paterson isn't one to be bluffed or intimidated. So either they believe that they have a reasonable to good argument in law or they are desperate to prevent sight of relevant contracts.
-
Small point. I think the media will be crying out for Rangers stories during the close season to fill gaps and more especially for the back page headline to help shift copy. That said you never know what will come along. Yesterday's resignation by Lennon meant that the 'second police probe' was covered less prominently than it would have been.
-
Some may perceive a lawyers letter to be 'intimidating'. Sometimes designed to influence someone into a certain course of action but without good reason in law. ie. it is often done with the hope that the recipient will presume a lawyer to be correct and thus they intimidate using a superior knowledge of the law. That said, I'm sure Mr.Paterson won't be intimidated.

I don't deny that there is a drain in general from a largely uninspiring Scottish game but this has it's roots in simple customer choice rather than based on some motive to do with supposed societal 'class'. Perhaps the Marketing Manager that Mr.Hemdani has in mind, currently works for the EPL.

Much of todays 'middle class' seek bargains. London ("Arsenal, Chelsea or West Ham") is another economic world.

I apoligize if I came accross badly but it was my impression of your post. I now understand the point you make more fully. I'd point to an issue that doesn't have a 'close season' but needs to maintain a degree of momentum. To call a break on protests until the new season starts isn't a good option. I'd expect there to be an appropriate photograph taken, one way or the other and distributed to media channels. It's up to individuals what they want to do over the summer but I'm sure there are many who will look to actively support those who have the longterm future of the club in mind and not their pockets.

Speaking generally.... Only those of a certain vintage can appreciate the depth of these changes. Within a couple of generations the great majority will have known nothing else. I think the 'golden age' (or whatever you want to call it) has passed and as a society we are now regressing.
-
You are welcome to your opinion but I find it somewhat pompous and unjustly dismissive. For being new on the block, the SOS have learnt quickly and have been an effective thorn in the side of the executive board. This has been done through management of an ongoing campaign which requires momentum. Sometimes protests aren't so much about numbers, but subsequent coverage. Perhaps a photograph that conveys a particular message may be the most important thing that comes out of tomorrow's protest.

Bump for tomorrow's protest
