  1. Being reported that Raskin left stadium today with his foot in a protective boot. New season, same old story.....
  2. So we're basically agreeing then...😀
  3. Depending on what you mean by low offers. Like it or not, we are struggling for money and can't continue to "buy high" and "sell low". The cycle / madness has to stop. If someone offers his £500K for Lammers, we ain't selling (and nor should we), if someone offers close to what we paid, we will sell. However, he might not accept a 50% pay cut. I may be wrong, but we are a business and not a very profitable one at that, makes no business sense to sell players at a significant loss just to get them off the wage bill. We may do it for one of two, but not for 10 - 11 players who need moved on and more importantly, replaced with superior quality players.
  4. I agree, but many won't - rightly or wrongly they'll want instant success and want all the "dross", "serial losers" sold / moved on at any cost. We will retain more players than we sell / release and the manager has already stated a couple of his new signings aren't 1st team ready. We have to hope and pray clubs will want to buy some of our players, if they aren't, we won't be paying anyone off, we won't be accepting "low ball" offers just to move players on as we simply can't afford to. So the fans who are screaming for us to "cut or losses" with the "serial losers", "dross" and perma injured players like Tav, Goldson, Lawrence, Lammers, Dessers, Dowell, Yilmaz, Cifuentes, Hagi, Davies, Wright, Matando, Danilo, Cantwell, Raskin et al are going to be disappointed.
  5. Who's arguing? All I'm saying is some of them will still be here next season, and the sooner we realise / accept that the better.
  6. Or he actually wants to keep them. I'm sure he would want to transform the entire squad but it's completely unrealistic. Maybe he's trying to temper the expectations of the fans as some players the fanbase want to leave (and are actually advocating paying them off) will still be here next season. I can feel the seeeeeeethe already (they're shit, they're serial losers, they're cowards, they'll get Clement sacked etc).......
  7. We have little money to buy new players, so we'll (rightly) not be wasting the little we have paying players off. Think there is still interest for Tav from Saudi and believe Birmingham are interested in Goldson. Also, Clement has said a few times he is in no hurry to move either of them on. The big takeaway for me from his interview was that a house / Rome wasn't built in a day, same with this Rangers rebuild. Wonder if the fans will show the necessary patience.....
  8. Some update that.... clears everything up. All that's missing is #blamebisgrove.
  9. Someone on another forum has posted that if / when we use Hampden there are a few fixture clashes with QP. Nothing is ever straightforward......
  10. Don't know and not much of an explanation on "Ask Rangers" https://ask.rangers.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/26637488569745-I-m-enrolled-on-the-CCCS-scheme-for-non-season-ticket-home-matches-Will-my-ticket-for-non-season-ticket-home-matches-automatically-be-purchased-for-matches-at-Hampden
  11. No CCCS this season for European Games. Another kick in the baws for season ticket holders.
  12. Knowing our board, they'll rent Parkheid 😀
  13. Should be OK - take them in the return leg......
  14. That's Riidvans fault 😉
  15. An imminent announcement from our board detailing that we'll be using Hampden for all home games until the end of October is the latest "rumours" doing the rounds.
  16. It definitely was on Football Scotland (has since been removed and an "apology" printed) but didn't see it / hear about it being on DR but may have been.
  17. Wasn't it Football Scotland who had this heading yesterday? Another Reach PLC owned site?
  18. Missing the point If we didn't have / know a completion date, why didn't we have contingency plans on place? Why did we sell season tickets not knowing when the stadium would be fit to host games? Why did we tell a meeting of fans that everything was on course hours before we came clean and said there was a delay? As for budget, any overspend will impact other facets of the club, so fans (who are stakeholders, if not shareholders) deserved to keep informed. The current board give the impression they couldn't run a p1ss up in a brewery.
  19. This "summary" on another site sums it up perfectly. No stadium, no chief Exec, no head of Academy, not a single public interview from the Chairman since he became Chairman over a year ago, seeming stagnation with outgoing players leading to lack of funds for incoming players. It’s all going really well.......
