If it wasn't against Rangers the pricing would be far lower. Not saying they'd "sell out" but would have sold more than 300. St Johnstone and Rangers really ripping the arse out of the cost for tickets (sure both jave to agree on the pricing).
-
Yeah fair play to them as the pricing for the game is ridiculous.

Not mutually exclusive, we can be looking at players who can go straight into and improve the 1st team as well as young players who can be seen as "projects". But you're correct - just announce someone Rangers....😀 -

Beale has given / trusted Kent to play with more freedom and he is looking far more dangerous in the "free" role. Even when not at his best, his work rate could never be questioned. He gives 100% everytime he plays. -
Ryan Jack for me but if @der Berliner is reading I went for Kent 😉😄

All about opinions and mines is that Kent had a very good game, yours is he didn't. However, it's also my opinion that Kent could score a hattrick and set up another 2 goals and you'd still not be happy with his contribution. Any time we looked threatening yesterday was when Kent was involved. His pass to set up the move for the 1st goal was sublime. -

Can't see how they'll be able to - should have ripped it down when they had the opportunity to. Also hearing that VAR WASNT used at Celtic v Killie semi-final due to "technical issues"......... -

Took us 2hrs to get home after the game. No Police at any junctions or traffic lights around Hampden - it was a free for all. -

Also worth mentioning the pitch - an absolute disgrace for a "showpiece" semi-final. I've never been a fan of Hampden since it's been "renovated". It also one of the worst grounds in Scotland to get in and out off. -

So by your reckoning, Tony Weston should be picked before Alfie, Colak and Roofe? After all Weston has excelled in the Lower League against butchers, bakers and candlestick makers. Lowry will get minutes when the manager (and coaching staff) decides he deserves them not because he scored a hattrick against Civil Service Strollers. Worth noting he was omitted from DUFC squad due to injury. -

Discussion from August 2021 regarding Aston Villa contemplating a bid for Cantwell. Hopefully if we can secure his signature, he can regain the form that led to him being valued at £40M..... -

What we as a support need to realise is that the Academy is set up to develop players who'll well sell. Patterson was sold for circa £16M after playing a handful of games for us. Bassey was sold for circa £20M after a good run of games, especially in Europe but let's remember his appearance in the team was out of necessity. What both those players had was a desire to develop, learn, train, knuckle down and play football at a high level. I don't doubt Lowery has the same ambition but does he have the same drive and determination? If he does, he'll get game time and get his rewards. For what it's worth, the little I've heard from young Devine tells he has the drive and determination and has all the ability. Only time will tell I suppose. -

My opinion is that other players (like Weston) have stood out at that level and struggled at places like Partick Thistle. I watched Lowry against Bo'ness last season and he was worst player on the pitch (no exaggeration) but a few weeks later, he played very well against Celtic B at Ibrox (wasn't the standout but had a good game). The manager has already stated he believes Lowry will have a great Rangers career (mentions him again this weeks press conference) but that'll be more reliant on Lowry than MB or however the manager is. -

How is Lowry ready? Because he can (at times) rip semi-professional and amateur players / teams apart? Tony Weston was ripping the Lowland League apart (and looked decent) but has struggled badly on loan. Lowry is a talent, but to say he's ready is very premature. Also worth noting MB has stated nobody from 1st team squad will be going on loan. -

Maybe aye, maybe no. I've watched Lowry a lot for the B Team. Some games he looks far too good for that level, other games he looks like a wee boy lost. Have you watched much of Lowry outwith fleeting glimpses in 1st team? If so, what's your impressions? -

Liverpool were once interested at £20M. Guy has EPL and Championship experience and with him being in a free, it's worth a punt. No reason he can't regain the form that saw Liverpool looking at him. -
