Having just read GCCs explanation of how the "safety commitee" have decided on attendances, I retract my previous opinion.

No Covid is not super intelligent, just not convinced that everything has to be anti-Rangers. If Celtic had two friendlies over two days, i dont think they would have had 19,000 at each game. But I guess we'll never know. Our allowed attendances thus far are in-line with everyone else's. Said above, all clubs should have all restrictions lifted. If anything, not allowing full houses is "anti-football fan" more than "anti" one particular club / fanbase. Given there are away fans at tonight's Airdrie v Motherwell game, wonder when SPFL games will "host" away fans?

We have a total of 20,000 for two friendlies over 2 days, they have 19,000 for 1 friendly. We have 17,500 for our opening league fixture, they have requested 22,000 for theirs (1 week after ours). Not much difference to be honest. Now if they were getting circa 30-40,000 every game and we weren't, then we may have a case, but that is not happening (yet). PS - all clubs should be given green light to have full stadiums now.

Only certain sections of the ground open, so don't think there is an option to purchase your own seat. I purchased my Dads and my Madrid tickets last night and I'm in CF2 and he is CF1. My ST is BF4 and his is Sandy Jardine Lower. Just need to keep selecting a section until you find a section that still has seats available

Arsenal cancel their trip to US due to several positive Covid results within "their camp". Hopefully not passed on to our boys, or worse, Arteta got up close and personal with Skippy, Neilly and the delightful Emma, so hopefully they're fine also

Weird that it looks like we'll be allowed a fuIl house for CL qualifier but not for OF? Making the rules up as they go along again it seems.

Does this indicate that it won't be a full house for the OF game?

Plenty of improvement required, Arsenal could / should be 3 or 4 goals ahead, but we are missing Borna, Kent, Aribo, Helander and Alfredo who are key players in our squad / system. Arsenal very good high press, their passing is fast and crisp but their finishing leaving a lot to be desired thankfully. Plenty to work on and hopefully improvement in 2nd half.

Opening 30 minutes underlining how our system relies on out and out width and how we struggle with out our best wide players and without Alfredo as a target man. Front 3 passengers at the moment, midfield chasing shadows and defending miles away from last season Glad it's just our 3rd pre-season game.

Apparently not! Celtic given permission for only 9,000 for their CL qualifier........ less than 1/6 of capacity.

Aberdeen have been granted permission for 5000+ fans for their European Qualifier next week. Good to see Abderdeen Council using some common sense. Wonder of GCC will follow their example?
