My supposition is that that particular flag is wholly associated to the mhanks other than solely Eire and as many on here abhor them(mhanks) so MIGHT be provocative,that's all.

It was a team from Austria we were playing so I would expect their fans to be flying their national flag and not one from a country whose flag is abhorrent to many of our fans so feel that it was provocative. Have no issues when fans fly flags of THEIR country.

Not long in from game and home very very happy great performance and atmosphere. Like some others couldn't understand lack of substitutions but all's well in the end.
