Now you are moving the goalposts mate. The English Association falls under UEFA and not just the EPL. I am not trying to annoy you I just think UEFA and therefore the SFA will have a say in what happens. If push comes to shove then I think if we are invited and UEFA give their blessing that the SFA will allow us to go.

Agreed but that is an organised league and not a rogue breakaway club.

I remember we used to have some good banter. I remember a game at Hampden when the Celtic end was not covered during a heavy rain shower the Rangers supporters started singing "The Huns(as of old) are getting wet. To which the Celtic support started singing"We're singing in the rain"

You are signing in for another UEFA run association. UEFA have always been against cross-border competitions so no way they would allow Rangers to cross the border when Scotland has it's own UEFA run association as things stand. I agree it may be possible for geographical special cases as in Berwick Rangers but Rangers do not fall into that category. UEFA are softening up on cross-border competitions and have recently allowed the Dutch and Belgian Ladies to form a cross-border league but that is an organised competition and not a rogue club breaking away.

I think one thing is certain as the SFA and FA are both family of UEFA they would certainly have to sanction us playing for the FA. I agree that if we went to play for a pirate association then the SFA could do nothing about it but I think Boabie is right when we are going to play for another UEFA run Association that the SFA would need to sanction it.

How does that work? Do you have to name a keeper that can only keep? In that case you could never bring a keeper on as a player say for a last minute corner and remove a small player. That is a strange one.

Fodderingham Tav Senderos Wallace Hodson Halliday Forrester Holt Waghorn Dodoo McKay Reserves. Barton O'Halloran Wilson Kranjcar Gilks Windass Garner. I would actually toy with the idea of not putting a keeper on the Bench. How often is he actually used? With our possession game we could use a player who can keep if an emergency does arrive. Barton has not produced anything near the performances of Halliday last season therfore I would choose Halliday. I am not sure if I would put Dodoo or Waggy in the middle but Waggy is more dangerous coming in from the right. I have little faith in Wilson Kiernan and Hill and I know from past games that Wallace can play CH probably better than all 3 so therefore my choice of moving Wallace to CH.

While having a laugh at Rangers, players from other clubs should also take note of this and remember it also affects them. With the Police not taking action and the SFA only interested in getting it filed away as quietly as possible it has now been shown twice that supporters entering the pitch and assaulting players is acceptable. I almost wish our support would do it to see what the reaction would be against us. Don't do it bears we will find a new tougher zero tolerance line has been introduced.

88 Years Ago Today. The Rowerdennan Reunion.
pete replied to The Moonlighter's topic in Rangers Chat
Fantastic read and his speech brought and tear to my eyes. The film is a fantastic find, well done. -
As Hibs supporters on the field out-numbered Rangers supporters by at least 10-1 I guess only 6 of those arrested were Rangers supporters.

I doubt if they would use their own name to log in but I also doubt They would want to get involved and read what people think of them. I think they will get a general consensus of information through PR people who probably do look in on the forums. If I was a player I wouldn't want to read about people calling me a dick for making a mistake. Here it may not too bad but on the bigger sites getting 26 pages of people calling me a dick won't be much fun to read.

As Gunsliger says plus this player is also older so he will need to be development level virtually right away the chance to really develop from youth him has gone.

Wednesday, 31 August 2016, 23:00 by Rangers Football Club http://rangers.co.uk/news/academy-news/academy-transfer-roundup-2/ RANGERS ACADEMY can confirm the addition of four new players to the ranks today including two youth internationalists. Finnish wide player Serge Atakayi joins the Academy from FF JARO until 2019. The youngster is a youth international and will play for the U19 national side against Romania next week. The seventeen year old, who was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, has experience at first team level in Finland and is among the youngest players ever to score in senior football in the country. He has also had trial periods with English Premier League champions Leicester city and Fulham. Also joining the Academy is seventeen year old Myles Beerman from Manchester City, signing with the club until 2018. The Maltese youngster is left sided and can play at both left back and left wing. He will also represent his country this coming week, playing for Malta against Belgium on Friday. Nineteen year old attacker Amin Bouzaig has also joined the Academy signing from Puerto Malagueno in Spain until May 2017. Finally, joining the club until January 2017, is eighteen year old midfielder Ursene Mouanda from New Hartley Juniors in the North East of England. All players will join up with the Rangers Academy and each transfer is subject to FIFA approval and international clearance.

Having made that decision I think I am well placed to give a good insight into the pro's and cons of making that move, Firstly it depends on where you move to. I moved to Holland where many people speak English to a reasonable level. If you move to a country like France, Spain, Italy, Germany or Greece, to name a few, you have to realise that very few people on the street can speak English. You will get British TV over the satellite as far as Spain but further than that you will be dependant on local language TV. In Holland the English programmes are in English with Dutch subtitles but in Germany and in most countries I think you will find the English programmes are dubbed into the local language. The problem is not when you are at work it is when you are at home looking at four walls and not even being able to understand the telly. Then even the BBC world service seems interesting. Because a wife mostly does not have work to go to, it is normally far more difficult for her to have a social life and she is stuck at home looking at those 4 walls. This is the biggest reason I see for guy's heading back to Britain is because their wives get homesick. I think you can put families into 2 categories. Young Children and older Children. Young Children are mostly still under their mothers apron and learn Languages very easily especially if they go to a local school so they will have no problem adapting to their new environment. Older Children will have much more difficulty having to leave school and all their friends and finding it difficult to go to a school where nobody speaks their language which makes finding friends far more difficult. I would imagine, most on a short term contract with older Children will leave their families at home and just travel home every few weeks to see their families like Warburton does. Most players or other contractors working from Britain will probably have flight payment built in to their contracts. There are of course also cultural differences which makes it even harder to adapt. In western European lands they are not so great but Greece, Turkey etc. have a completely different culture to us and that makes it far more difficult. I would imagine Lesscot must be earning a hell of a lot more in Athens to want to turn down Rangers and move to a land with a different language and different culture. He will have slightly better weather of course. It may also be easier to pick up a language when nobody does speak English as my biggest problem when trying to learn Dutch was that everyone wanted to speak English to me. Up until I lived in Holland for about 15 years I still got homesick at times. It is not as easy as some think to move abroad. The biggest cultural difference I had with the Dutch was not waiting in Queues. Even to this day I get pissed off when instead of forming a line for a bus it is a free for all when the bus comes. In a busy pub people just push their way to the front and who can shout the loudest often get served first. When they open a new cash register in the supermarket it is often the ones at the back of the Queue that are the first to push their way forward. Three years ago I immigrated to Germany from Holland. I only moved 12 Kilometers into Germany but even then there is a huge cultural difference. The Germans are far more rigid and old fashioned than the Dutch. I only speak a little German and understand about 40% because of my Dutch. I don't really have the enthusiasm to study German and only watch Dutch and British TV so learning German is going very slow. I still enjoy where I live but I do get embarrassed that I can't even answer people or chat to them in the street.

No doubt Rangers fault.

Just tweeted by Frankie. I hope you don't mind Frankie. I guess this will be another hatchet job with the Miss "we have witnesses who talked to the uncle of someone who claims to have heard some facts and the Rangers support definitely rioted according to my witnesses brothers daughter" Hamilton.

6 years + possibly, unfortunately.

If I was the rep that was to attend then I would want to see footage of Rangers fans breaking the advertisement boards as the Hibs supporters were around them long before rangers supporters went on to the field.
-
Surely this was a perfect opportunity to try and get to grips with some of our blending in problems. We seem to be doing everything exactly opposite of how we did it last season.
-
You would need a regiment of Marines to protect our back-four.
-
Friday night with Sutton and Co. All we need now is Hartson to join in for a real exciting fright night.
-
I know for a fact that Rangers have ties with Jeroen Wotte(Brother of Mark) as he organised our pre-season trips to Holland\Germany. I am sure he has players under his management or at least knows the Dutch game well enough to point us in the right direction. I am positive there are better defenders than kiernan and Hill in the Dutch Leagues somewhere that won't cost the whole world. Personally I think we have spent our transfer money on a striker and no money will be spent on the position we needed most. To be honest Tannoch it is not the same. They are defending with 9 men in a 20 yard area which makes defending a whole lot easier.

No still 2 days it just shuts on Thursday instead of Wednesday.
-
He has still got 2 days but you are correct. If we are going with the central defenders we now have I seriously will be bricking it before every game.
