If you are going to write a serious letter then you name the team by their name. The fact that he never mentioned any other team than Manchester makes his letter a bin job.

On reading this thread i really think there is a lot of psychology involved. It was mentioned that Papac was playing bad so the bad things that he done probably showed up more to me than the good things. People who said they were expecting better from him probably sketched over the bad things he did and saw the good things. This is probably the case in most cases. The true line probably lies in the middle somewhere. As Broadfoot has been mentioned in a positive sense by everyone he is probably man of the match.

I read about Nacho not being happy about not getting starts and being used as a winger instead of a striker. Steven smith hasn't featured for Norwich city due to an Achilles heel injury. As far as i can see Beasley has yet to feature for Hannover 96 who are lying 4th in the Bundusliga.

I didn't see anything of the game last week so i can only go on what i read. it is most disappointing to read Walter admitting that Hamilton managed to dominate us and worked harder to close us down. What is the problem then Walter, are other teams working harder than us? If we cannot leave teams in the rear view mirror with skill Walter then you have to get them working harder to throw the pendulum in our favour.

I know for one that family members died fighting the Nazi's while Dublin was embracing them. Don't give a Ckuf what anyone says i know who the true Nazi helpers were.- 33 replies

Saw on SSN that the Manchester police were praising the Rangers supporters for their behaviour. If their city council had not made a cnut of it the last time their behaviour would have been impeccable then as well

I don't know about the conduct of the police or the arrested fans but i think it is pretty normal practice for any police force to publish the amount of people arrested whether it be on a website or to the media.

I thought Sasa Papac was bordering on a nightmare giving the ball away unnecessarily on many occasions and some stupid fouls in dangerous places. I am really surprised you mention him as MOM. Funny how we all see things different. I will go with the Lee McCulloch group i thought he was everywhere. Broadfoot Edu and Bougherra also deserve a mention though.

The fact is guy's that unless there is cause for concern you can't send everyone for heart check-ups taking up precious hospital time with healthy people. From what i know is that a heart-attack produces a gas in your body and that is what shows up on heart equipment. If you have had no heart attack then there is no Gas. There is no machine in the world to measure what has not happened.

The only thing being a letter will be printed at the discretion of the editor and an ad will be a guaranteed print.

Can we not trojan it on to Kerrydale street.:robbo:

I will as well although i can't really see that a letter of support would be charged. An advertisement would be but a letter of support would be different i would think.
-
Could we not do that in the name of the Gersnet. I don't want to steal your idea MF but i think it would also be very fitting for the forum to send a letter of support to a newspaper.

After moving to Holland and playing at a reasonable amateur level,i was asked to train the top under 15 team from our club. My first training was running round the pitch, sprinting between cones and a few more stamina training methods. After my first training i was pulled aside and told that all training is done with a ball at your feet. Young players have a natural stamina. What they need to do is master ball control, body swerves and the technical side of the game. When i think of all the wasted time i spent running round pitches. All youth training in Holland is based on technical skills and that is where i feel Scotland was left behind in the 70's 80's 90's
