  1. I can't watch the English football and listen at the same time as they both come through the satellite dish. Rangers are more important.
  2. If you can stop McGeady from playing you stop celtic from playing.
  3. Fuck! Gift from the Ref. 1-0 tims
  4. All Celtic now with 5 mins. Come on the Saints hold on!!!
  5. St Mirren are unlucky. Boruc two great saves.
  6. Just realistic. He has been in addiction centres often but they can only advise you they can't watch him 24\7. i certainly wouldn't want my kid coached by anyone who possibly has been drinking.
  7. Gazza has been offered help many times, but keeps returning to the drink. Anyone with an addiction need to help themselves. All the help in the world won't help them unless they help themselves.

    Mad March:

MAD MARCH: Eight games in 28 days could hit Gers title bid RANGERS IN MARCH 1 Aberdeen (h) SPL 6 W Bremen (h) Uefa 9 Hibs (h) Scottish Cup 12 W Bremen (a) Uefa 16 CIS Cup Final 19 Partick (h; tbc or SPL) 22 Hibs (h) SPL 26 Scotland v Croatia 29 Celtic (h) SPL by Darrell King Rangers' dramatic win in Athens last night could seriously impact their dreams of winning back the SPL title this season. Nacho Novo's equaliser against Panathinaikos took Rangers through on away goals to a last 16 meeting with Werder Bremen. It also added to a hectic mad March of games for Walter Smith's side. Rangers face a punishing schedule of eight games in 28 days next month. advertisement And the Scotland players in the squad - such as Barry Ferguson, Lee McCulloch, Kris Boyd and Allan McGregor - could play NINE games, with the national side also having a game against Croatia. The 1-1 Athens draw last night also means that, with every midweek now filled, it is almost certain the Old Firm derby - originally scheduled for January 2 - won't take place before Celtic visit Ibrox on March 29. That would result in three Old Firm derbies being played in the last six weeks of the campaign - with the last two of them at Parkhead. The chances of a delay to the 33-game split in the SPL is also likely as Rangers also have rearranged fixtures with Motherwell and St Mirren. Rangers survived a few anxious moments in Athens last night. And Christian Dailly today relived the debut moment he feared would send Rangers crashing out of the Uefa Cup. The Scotland man was thrown on as a right back sub in last night's 1-1 draw with Panathinaikos in Athens, a result that sent Smith's side through to a last 16 showdown with Werder Bremen on the away goals rule. Bremen went through 4-0 after a 1-0 win at Braga, and will be at Ibrox on Thursday, March 6 with the return game six days later. But Dailly revealed how he feared German ref Felix Brych would point to the spot after his superb goal saving tackle on Dimitris Salpingidis as the Greeks pursued a killer second goal. The hitman had raced clear of Davie Weir before the 34-year-old made a last-gasp tackle, clearly taking the ball. But Dailly said: "What was going through my mind? You are always worried that the referee maybe doesn't see it properly and gives a penalty. "I did fear that might happen and that would have been a nightmare debut. "I saw their lad bursting away and my first reaction was just to get over and try to close him down. I kept my eye on the ball and when I slid in I thought to myself: That's a good contact'. "But you see the boy going down and the reaction of the crowd and sometimes refs give a penalty. That would have given them a chance for 2-0 and it would have been very tough for us then with 20 minutes to go. "So I was relieved, although the bottom line is that it was never a penalty. But things don't always go for you. "I was just happy to make that tackle, and it was maybe similar to the one big Carlos Cuellar made in the first half in terms of stopping a clear shot on goal." Porkhead twice in the last six weeks could be a nightmare. I would hate them to win the league against us at home. I hope we have a cushion to stop that. if we still have a lead they will hit us with everything. Including the kitchen sink. Nightmare scenario!!
  9. We are not a charity organisation and owe Gazza nothing. He was well paid to play for us. He is not the best role model for young players and therefore not the man for the job. Gazza has to sort out his own life,Rangers can't employ all ex-players just because they can't control their own life. Hard! Yes, but the real world.
  10. What an utter shame. all the best Gazza i hope you can sort your life out. Gazza held after hotel incident Paul Gascoigne Gascoigne was capped 57 times for England Former England footballer Paul Gascoigne has been detained under the Mental Health Act following an incident at a Tyneside hotel. Northumbria Police said a 40-year-old man was detained at Gateshead's Hilton Hotel on Wednesday evening when concern was raised about his behaviour. Mr Gascoigne had been asked to leave Newcastle's Malmaison Hotel earlier that day after a disturbance. Police said he was not in custody and was now receiving medical treatment. Mr Gascoigne is understood to have moved to the Hilton Hotel after leaving the Malmaison in the early hours of Wednesday. Northumbria Police confirmed a 40-year-old man had been detained under the Mental Health Act. Alcohol problems A Hilton spokesperson said: "We can confirm that the guest in question checked into the hotel early on Wednesday 20 February. "While there was no disturbance caused (at the Hilton), we did receive a phone call from the police later that day. "Since then we can confirm that he was escorted calmly from the hotel and we are continuing to co-operate with the police." Mr Gascoigne has battled for some time with alcohol and health problems. In January 2005, he was hospitalised with pneumonia and last year he underwent emergency surgery for a perforated stomach ulcer after being taken ill as he was celebrating his 40th birthday. He was arrested for an alleged assault on a photographer outside a Liverpool city centre hotel in 2005. The charges were later dropped. A former player with Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Lazio, Glasgow Rangers and Middlesbrough, he was sacked after 39 days as manager of Kettering Town in 2005. He was capped 57 times for England.
  11. I used to have a piece of paper that folded. i think it was a rip off.
  12. Just a thought but you could also put Nacho up there and go for the ball over the top or in the channels.
  13. I support the Queen but after she dies they can shut the royal doors. I have no interest in Charles or his sons. I was christened a protestant and proud to tell people i am a protestant, it is purely a name though as i do totally nothing in a religious sense. I don't care what religion my friends are it is not important to me. I despise anyone who can kill and maim innocent people no matter of religion or creed. I still sing and listen to the old party songs at home and in the car but it is because they are embedded in my brain more than they have any meaning. I love Rangers more than any religious crap.
  14. I seem to remember Mark Hately was shagging a gangsters daughter and got chased out town for a while. I hope that doesn't happen to Mcgregor though.
  15. As long as he keeps the ball out of the net i don't care who he is shagging. Just because her father has a bad name does not make the daughter a bad person, so the only bad thing is having an affair on the side. Hey better men than him have done that. Dirty wee lucky barsteward.:fish:
  16. Saturday, 16 February 2008 ----------------------------------Time--------TV Celtic v Hearts--------------------15:00 Falkirk v St Mirren-----------------15:00 Gretna v Motherwell---------------15:00 Inverness CT v Dundee United------15:00 Sunday, 17 February 2008 ----------------------------------Time--------TV Kilmarnock v Rangers--------------14:00-------*** Hibernian v Aberdeen--------------15:00 Celtic get a visit from hearts and all hearts and Rangers supporters will be hoping for a repeat of Hearts 2-0 Scottish cup win. Both teams have been in excellent form of late with Celtic scoring 5 goals at Pittodrie last week. I am going to hope for a wee draw here but don't see it happening to be honest. Celtic win. St Mirren surprised everyone with their cup win against against Dundee united at Tannadice during the week and drew with Caley at home last Saturday. Falkirk have been playing reasonable but losing of late with a defeat at Gretna standing out. If any game is a draw then this will be the one. Draw. Gretna against Motherwell means the Well have an away game at home. Although Gretna have improved of late I can only see a Motherwell win for this one. Motherwell win. Dundee Utd head north to to meet Inverness after their Scottish cup dismissal.Confidence at that defeat and the loss of Robson to Celtic could make all the difference in this one. Craig Brewster has done well in guiding caley to the middle of the league and home advantage aded could tip the scales in a Caley win. Caley win Kilmarnock always make it difficult for rangers at Rugby park but as they sold probably their best player in the transfer window they really shouldn't pose a threat to the league leaders. Killie look now more than likely to finish second bottom and need to keep looking in the rear mirror for an improving gretna team. anything less than a win for Rangers is unthinkable for this one.(Famous last words) Rangers win. Hibs and Aberdeen looks like the best match on paper and to be honest, if i take off my blue glasses, this should have been the televised game. Aberdeen will have gotten a much needed confidence booster after their display against Bayern Munich which will ease the pain of their 5-1 drubbing at home to Celtic last week. Hibs may have the new manager effect with Mixu Paatelainen taking over the reigns but this looks like another draw for me. Draw
  17. German teams are not that good technically so the best way to play them is get into their faces. Aberdeen played well it was a shame for the penalty and Diamond going to sleep at the goal.
  18. Disagree with this. We had totally nothing to lose in Barcelona, we should have had a go at them instead of lying down and rolling over. Against stuttgart at home and away we only took them on when we went behind. He was too defensive last time round and a leopard can't change his spots.
  19. He was always struggling with injuries. Even in his young PSV days he was out for a long time. He had trouble with the joining of the muscle and bones as far as i can remember. I preferred Romario to be honest, i was never a great Ronaldo fan.
  20. I hope Walter is watching this. They might go out but at least they put up a fight. We lay down and rolled over on our tummies to go out the CL.
  21. Carlos Cuellar for me. How anyone can imagine Fergie as player of the year in front of Cuellar totally bamboozles me. How many good performances has Fergie had this season compared to the big man. Personally i think Fergie is the most overrated player in our team and in fact smothers other players. Even Thomson was beginning to be more influential than Fergie. On last nights performance i have a hope Davis and Thomson can hit it off and carry us into the future.

    Positives.

Broadfoot- Thought he played well but no Hutton going forward.Centre-back looks like a better option. Cuellar- give him a new contract now he could be the mainstay of our defence for years. Davis- thought he played well but we obviously can't play Davis, fergie, Hemdani and Thomson, so i don't know where he will fit in.
  23. Wee Nacho should have buried the three chances he got. They could be the difference of winning and losing. If you take the McCulloch header then that is four gilt edged chances. If you get offered that in Europe then you have to score at least 5o% of them.
  24. Agree with you Barry, although we can't go in like a headless chicken. Let's hope we can keep getting the chances we have been getting.
  25. Frigg'n 5 men in the midfield and we can't get three forward passes going.
