What do you mean old age. To be honest it would not surprise me if they did bring him back. The January transfer window is always a let down for us. The only transfer movement Walter is going to make is the last minute signing of Hugh Janus.- 22 replies

My silence was because i am on back-shift and just got out of bed. I have got to sleep sometime. I will admit it was a wind up though. The part about Walter not bringing anyone in, was in fact taken from a newspaper article. Sorry:D- 22 replies

By STEPHEN HALLIDAY Rangers have recalled Filip Sebo from French side Valenciennes. DANIEL Cousin completed his expected signing to Fulham today after Rangers accepted an improved bid of £3 million for the Gabonese international striker from the London club yesterday. While Rangers find themselves well in credit on the sale of Cousin, manager Walter Smith stated he will not use the funds to sign a replacement striker during the current transfer window. We have chosen to bring Filip back into the fold. We have never lost faith in him. Sebo was signed by the then Rangers manager Paul le Guen who made him his ninth signing, from Austria Vienna with Rangers agreeing a fee of £1.85 million Walter Smith will consider approaching the rest of the season with the strikers already in his squad, with Sebo poised to make an Ibrox return. Kris Boyd, still the club's top scorer despite spending much of the time on the substitutes' bench recently, will be hopeful his manager does decide not to replace Cousin from outwith the existing squad and will go head to head with Sebo for the second strikers role, with Darchville claiming the number one spot. Cousin revealed his delight at finalising his move to West London. "I am pleased that the two clubs have been able to reach an agreement to enable me to sign for Fulham," he told the club's website. "I enjoyed my time at Rangers and I am now excited by a new challenge that awaits me. I look forward to playing well for Fulham and competing in the Premier League."

Och Frankie don't be a spoil sport. I had my hopes up. Come and get him Kevin!!!!

The difference is Cousin can control a ball and hold it up. Boyd needs about 15 yards of space to get the ball under control, which normally means the ball comes back just as quick as it was played up field.

I actually quite like Dailly although i admit he is not the big name signing i was hoping for. He can play in defence or midfield so it does give us extra cover there if needed. I have a suspicious feeling we are going to have another disappointing January sale. Possibly another few last day diddy buys as in the last few years. I hope i am wrong.

4-2 that is the beauty of the English cup, it always throws up a few shocks.

Well it has been a while since my last taxi so i will start by digging into the past, to open. First of all i will start with Aberdeenââ?¬â?¢s plight in Europe. They went to Spain and got caught up in crowd trouble with Spanish supporters. Seemingly they took a right baaa-tering . Spanish police surprisingly failed to arrest any sheep supporters, donââ?¬â?¢t you just hate when you canââ?¬â?¢t find a PEN, when you need one. It was reported that one Aberdeen supporterââ?¬â?¢s girlfriend was raped. A Spanish police spokesman said an arrest was immanent, as not many Spaniards wear wellies. They then went on to meet Copenhagen, in a do or die final game. They brilliantly won 4-0. A case of the sheep shagging the Vikings That shatters the old history books. News out of Pittodrie this week is that Aberdeen are skint. Although they have a Diamond and a Hart they havenââ?¬â?¢t got a Nickel-son. They are in fact hoping to grow in the future they have named their kids club after Angus the Bull. I am not sure the sheep around Aberdeenshire will be happy with that. Poor Artur Boruc was sidelined for a while with a foot injury . Stupid dick is always shooting himself in the foot. Celtic have rewarded him with a massive new contract, not bad for someone as dependable as an American opinion poll. He has dropped more this year than the pound has against the euro. After his run of mistakes he tried to pick himself up, and failed. Celtic have signed a new German left back Andreas Hinkel but i have a wee conspiracy feeling over this one. I think it is just to justify singing ââ?¬Å?Go home ya hunââ?¬Â The Celtic board will do anything to cover their supporters chants. Big news over the last few weeks was Alan Huttonââ?¬â?¢s supposed 9 million pound transfer to the Spurs and the reason why he wanted to stay at Ibrox. Well i got the reason from a good source. He heard that the spurs attack were Bent and Keane. He didnââ?¬â?¢t fancy the move after that. Funniest joke i heard over the holiday period, was that Rangers had failed in a bid to sign Mohamed Sissoko from Liverpool. It failed because you are not allowed to call a teddy bear Mohamed. Finally Celtic are doing everything possible to bring Koki Mizuno, another Japanese star to Scotland. Many people think he would be nuts to come to the Spl. I guess it would make him a Koki nut. TAXI!!!

Problem is if you put covers over the pitch then the grass will die. you could possibly do it for a night or two but not for long periods.
-
Good luck to the guy. Great player for us but him pulling his neck in instead of headering the ball away that cost us in a Euro tie, still sticks in my head
-
McFadden is a good player but going above 4 mill to get him is pushing his worth to the limit imo.

I will try and do one soon but it is difficult to do one every week as not many funny things have happened recently. That added to a few personal things that happened just didn't find much funny for a while. I will do my best.

Scottish Cup ---------------------------------Round-------Time Airdrie Utd v Kilmarnock,----------- R4,--------15:00 Celtic v Stirling,------------------- R4,--------15:00 Clyde v Dundee Utd,--------------- R4,------- 12:45 Cove Rangers v Ross County,------- R4,--------15:00 Falkirk v Aberdeen,----------------- R4,--------15:00 Hamilton v Brechin,----------------- R4,--------15:00 Hearts v Motherwell,--------------- R4,---------15:00 Hibernian v Inverness CT,----------- R4,--------15:00 Huntly v Dundee,------------------- R4,--------15:00 Livingston v Cowdenbeath,---------- R4,--------15:00 Morton v Gretna,------------------- R4,---------15:00 Partick v Dunfermline,--------------- R4,-------- 15:00 Queen of South v Linlithgow,-------- R4,---------15:00 St Johnstone v Raith,--------------- R4,-------- 15:00 St Mirren v Dumbarton,-------------- R4,---------15:00 Sunday 13 Rangers v East Stirling,--------------- R4,---------15:00 Too many games to write separate stories about but the ones that stick out are: Hearts v Motherwell, Hibernian v Inverness CT Hearts v Motherwell, Interesting to see how Motherwell will handle the death of PoD. They will be going into a huddle before the kick-off. I think if they ever want to win a game it will be this one as they will want to honour it to Phil. Would be worth getting a copy of the match programme and putting it in plastic without opening it. One of the ones that will be worth something over a few years. I Think Motherwell will fight to the death to win this one and i hope they do. I have been saying Hibs will come good every week and they haven't. Will a new manager be able to gee them up, that remains to be seen. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and tip them to beat Caley but as usual i could be wrong. Falkirk are the form team at the moment and again are playing some good football. Aberdeen are as always, over the last few years hot and cold. I think Falkirk at home will be too good for Aberdeen

Ha Ha i am one of the few to have seen him play in the first team:p Played for about 20mins against Lippstadt and looked quite good even although he was only 15 then i believe. He got really involved and even had a chance to score. Muffed his shot as far as i can remember.
