  1. Personally i think 8 mill is about right. We already have Whittaker to slot in at RB, 1.5 mill for Murphy then we have 6.5 mill to spend on the midfield or line Murry's pockets.
  2. Great to be back. Happy new year everybody!!!
  3. Well we got better than expected out of this one!!!!

Everything is possible but the fact remains Miller will only be a summer signing.

Miller can't come in in january Gribz as has been pointed out a few time.Wake up Laddie!!!! There is a rule that stops him. You are not allowed to transfer twice and play for two SPL teams in one season(or something like that).
  6. You would need to start with the bank manager.
  7. I switched off again as well as i found Nessie were doing better without me listening. Just listened now and again.
  8. I did the same i said to the wife i will listen to the Inverness game:) until the tims are 2-0 up. At the end of the Liverpool game put it back on expecting Celtic to be 3 or 4 up,and what a great surprise that was.3-2 for Nessie. Lets not get too carried away yet though, we still have to win our games. The possibility of going into the new year top of the league has just taken a massive possitive upturn though.

It looks like Cousin or\and Rangers has made his\their mind he is leaving. It is unfortunate as he looked good in the beginning. I suppose a 2mill profit in 6months means it has been a good bit of business.

    Kenny Miller?

I agree but i feel we can spend 2.2million on a better player. Miller is a great holder of the ball but his goal scoring tally is pretty poor. Maybe we can cross Miller with Boyd and get the perfect player.

    Kenny Miller?

Maybe the wrong words but i do feel supporters should be able to express their opinion that we do not feel he is the man for the job. I would rather we express our opinions now as slaughter the guy once he has signed. Personally i have no problem that he has played for Celtic, I just do not see him as the way forward. It would also be another sign for me that Smith can't see past his nose.
  12. I agree craig but unfortunately reading between the lines in papers, reports, Walters said step up to target a left back, things are looking pretty gloom on that front. He is back training but that does not mean he is near a first team place. I hope i am wrong but I would be surprised if Smith plays a worthwhile role this season, If he plays any role at all.As far as Smith is concerned i would be thinking of next season.
  13. I was thinking the same GribZ.
  14. I hope i am right with the Sunday result.
  15. Fixtures Saturday, 15 December 2007 ----------------------------------------time-- ----TV Hibernian v Falkirk------------------ ---15:00 Kilmarnock v Gretna --------------------15:00 Motherwell v Aberdeen -----------------15:00 Rangers v Hearts -----------------------15:00 St Mirren v Dundee United ---------------15:00 Sunday, 16 December 2007 -------------------------------------------Time----- --TV Inverness CT v Celtic-----------------------14:00-----*** After the disappointment of our European nightmare it is back to the task of brining the SPL title back to Ibrox. Rangers will need to put all the disappointment behind them and come out punching against Hearts on Saturday. Hopefully the players will be out to avenge the 4-2 defeat we sustained at Tynecastle. Personally I have more questions than answers for this one. Who is now our chosen strikers? Do we have a reserve central defender who Walter will play. Can we get out of the negative rut we seem to have dug for ourselves. I really don’t know how we will come out the tunnel in the tactical sense and with Hearts also being a Jeckyll and Hyde team I can only hope our players want to show they are better than they have shown recently. I think Rangers have something to prove and will come out and prove we can play to win. Rangers win. Hibernian against Falkirk is another game I would not bet on. Tuesday apart Falkirk have been in fine form recently and Hibs have been in freefall recently losing to Inverness and Aberdeen in the last two games. In fact they have only beaten Gretna believe it or not since they beat Rangers on 6 October. I have said over the weeks Hibs are due a win but I don’t think it will be against Falkirk I fancy a draw in this one. DRAW Kilmarnock v Gretna must be a home win for me. I still expect Killie to put on a spurt and finish in the top six. They have lost a lot of talent this year but they still seem to produce the goods when it matters. I can only see one result for this one. Killie Win. Motherwell against Aberdeen is possibly the game of the day if you are a neutral supporter. Motherwell have been the most attacking SPL team this term and Aberdeen have hit a rich vain of form in recent weeks, so this is the game that is the most challenging to predict. Again this game throws up a contest between two of the managers tipped to be the next Scotland boss and to be honest I wouldn’t mind any of the two of them getting it. I will give Motherwell the home advantage and say this will be a Motherwell win. Any result is possible though. Motherwell win. St Mirren did us the biggest favour of the season so far last week in taking points off Celtic. Saturday see’s a visit of Dundee united who seem to have nose dived the last few weeks with defeats against Inverness and Falkirk. This again is not a game i would bet on as it could go any way. If i had to place money on this one i would go with St Mirren to win. I don’t know why I just fancy them more. St Mirren Win. Celtic travel up to Inverness on Sunday and certainly won’t get it easy as Caley have done well since Craig Brewster took over. Celtic struggled against a defensive St Mirren last week but walked over an attacking Falkirk. Inverness will try and frustrate Celtic into a draw and I think they may just get it so i am going for a draw in this one. Possibly wishful thinking though. Draw
  16. Looking in the mirror craig?
  17. Agree 99% Cal. The only difference is that i would let Papac stay as a pool player as he can cover the whole defence. Weir could be given a coaching role but then again do we want our youngsters just punting the ball up the park?

    Politic show

Saying he is pro-war and saying Rangers supporters are calling him a war criminal are a street apart imo. Maybe i am being Psychotic.

    Politic show

Yep just passing the time but it was said Rangers supporters were calling him a war criminal. I hope we are not being set up for another attack by the media..

    Politic show

I would go more for this. Dawn Primarolo is married to UNISON regional secretary Ian Ducat. On May 13, 2007, the Mail on Sunday published a story in which it is alleged that John Reid "sexually harassed" Primarolo during her early years in parliament.[1] She was known as red Dawn.

    Politic show

A Question on the politic show over John Reid said Rangers supporters shout about him being a war criminal. As we have not played the tims since he took over, is this the media putting words in our mouth to shoot us down at a later date, or have we sung that at Ibrox?

    4-5-1 Home

Agree fully but i am afraid you will have to wait until we get a new manager for that.

    4-5-1 Home

Welcome mate. The fact is the negativity started against Barcelona. In the first few games we played a 4-5-1 as it should be played by breaking into a 4-3-3 when we had the ball. Against Barca that will to get forward to help the front player stopped, We were happy to sit with 10 men behind the ball. After that we were like a Rabbit caught in the headlights, not knowing which way to turn. 4-5-1 can be good if you can break to a 4-3-3. If not you get stuck in your own half.
  25. Mike his loyalty to certain players have not only cost us points this term but it in fact cost us 10 in a row. I never wanted Smith back for that very reason.
