  1. It also dosn't take levels of debt into consideration i think as Chelski are 180 million in the red. The russian maffia boss is rich, the club only have debt.
  2. Although living on the German border i don't really follow the German football but Shalke is the nearest team to me. Maybe try and get to a game sometime. I think it was Fakirk jim who went to a game there and said it was very impressive.
  3. Seemingly we got another not penalty. Boyd 3-0:thup: i don't think the ref will be going out in kilmarnock tonight.
  4. Thomson off with a slight strain but shouldn't be a problem. I never heard his name mentioned so i didn't think he was playing.
  5. Klos won't play football again never mind for us. If he was interested in playing he would have left last year, for first team football.
  6. I have got it on the computer, quality is not 100% but reasonable. I have the highlights, the celebrations, and the tim game. I have no idea how to get it to you though. The Rangers game is 35mb, celebrations 10.4mb and the tim game 65mb.

    Rangers ICF

Agree with Wija these idiots are not real supporters they only follow the club to feed their other interests.
  8. Scotland u21 lost to a far suprier German team yesterday but what is more dissappointing is that there was not one Rangers player in the team or even on the bench. Where are all these super-talents we are supposed to have. SCOTLAND McNeil (Hibernian) [McDonald {Hearts} 45]; Ross (Dunfermline Athletic), Wallace (Hearts); Fitzpatrick (Motherwell), Cuthbert (Celtic), Reynolds (Motherwell); McGlinchey (Celtic) [smith {Motherwell} 45], Robertson (Dundee United) [Dorrans {Livingston} 45], Naismith (Kilmarnock), Quinn (Celtic) [Adams {Kilmarnock} 68], Conroy (Celtic) [Considine {Aberdeen}81] UNUSED SUBS Kenneth (Dundee United), Cameron (Dundee United)
  9. I do think he will be used more sparingly though. Probably get hour shifts instead of the 90 minutes.
  10. Seemingly 50.000 union flags will be given out at the game against Hapoel on feb 22, to celibrate the anniversary of the Union 1707-2007. I believe i heard on reporting Scotland Rangers will pay half of the bill, with the supporters paying the other half. That will be immense imo.
  11. Garden invaders have been called in.
  12. McGregor Set For Killie RANGERS are hopeful that Allan McGregor will be fit to keep his place in the side for Sunday's trip to Kilmarnock. TAllan McGregorhe Ibrox keeper has been troubled by a groin injury which has forced him out of the Scotland B international against Finland tomorrow night - also at Rugby Park. However, it is understood that the Murray Park medical team are hopeful that McGregor will recover in time to take on Killie when Rangers will bid to consolidate second place in the SPL. The 24-year-old is on the longest run of first team action in his Rangers career having played the last 19 matches. Lionel Letizi has left for France - returning to first club OGC Nice - which has made McGregor the number one pick and he does not want to sit out any matches. Seems McGregor will make it.
  13. ALAN HUTTON has been called up by Scotland for tomorrow's B international against Finland and could go straight into the team. Alan HuttonThe young full-back arrived at Scotland's training headquarters today after being drafted by Bobby Williamson and Alex Smith for the tune-up match. Hutton was brought in when Steven Whittaker of Hibs and Christophe Berra of Hearts had to call off. It is now likely that he could go straight into the side in the right back berth with team mates Kevin Thomson and Charlie Adam also in line for a slot at Rugby Park Allan McGregor was due to play in goal, but had to withdraw as a result of a groin injury. The Rangers medical team believe he will recover for Sunday's SPL match against Kilmarnock. Hopefully this will be a confidence booster for him and get him playing as in his debut year.
  14. Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has been called up to the France squad for the first time. Flamini was not selected in the original party to face Argentina on Wednesday but Raymond Domenech had to look elsewhere after losing Philippe Mexes to injury. Flamini got the nod following a series of impressive performances in recent weeks for The Gunners. "Philippe Mexes is out for the match and he is to return to his club (Roma)," said a spokesman for the French team. "Mathieu Flamini has been called up." Marseille centre-back Julien Rodriguez has also been called up as cover for Lilian Thuram, who has not played for two months due to calf trouble. Sebastien Squillaci (thigh) and Eric Abidal (rib) Not Rangers class?
  15. WALTER Smith could be set to hand Stefan Klos a dramatic return for Rangers at Rugby Park this Sunday. The German keeper, who has made only three SPL starts in two years, may have to replace injured No.1 Allan McGregor. McGregor missed the Scotland gathering at Turnberry to have intensive treatment at Murray Park for a groin injury. It's understood he would have been forced to sit on the sidelines had Rangers still been involved in the Scottish Cup at the weekend, but the extra week has given him hope of recovering in time. advertisement Klos made himself a huge favourite with the Ibrox legions before a string of injuries, and a loss of form, made it impossible for him to win his place back. McGregor has put in some fine displays so far this season and has been rewarded with a Scotland call-up, so he'll want to keep his first team place. It's believed Smith has no problem with bringing Klos back, but will back McGregor if he can convince the Rangers medical department he is fit. Meanwhile, Rangers' Euro rivals Hapoel Tel Aviv have not been slow to replace axed boss Yitzhak Schum. The new boss is Nir Levin, and that could be good news for Smith. Former Dundee United player Jan Telesnikov said: "The change of manager won't do them any good. "They've succeeded in getting rid of a very popular coach who had great success with Panathinaikos, leading them to a Greek league and cup double before coming home. "The Hapoel fans loved Schum and have been standing up for him all season with some dirty tricks politics going on behind the scenes. "Levin is a younger coach who has been out of work for some time. I just don't see how he can have any impact in the short space of time before the Rangers matches." In another surprise, Gers flop Julien Rodriguez, who quit for Marseille during the transfer window, has been called into the France squad as cover for the injured Philippe Mexes for tomorrow's game with Argentina. Publication date 06/02/07 This will make Gribz happy.
  16. I don't suppose there will be a statement from Ibrox as no one wants to grass. They will too frightened they get turfed out. I'll get my coat.
  17. Even taking away the Rangers\Celtic issue it is totally unacceptable behaviour to apply such language on the beeb website. The Sebo and Greyskull remark had a certain degree of humour but the Thomson photo is just blatent biasedness
  18. Yesterday i believe which amazes me really as they have known for weeks we had no game last weekend. The diggers should have started on the monday after the Hearts game which would have gave the grass a week extra to settle.
  19. Former Celt rejects Gers Thu, Feb 01 2007 18:45 Mark Fotheringham has revealed he snubbed Rangers to join Norwich - because he wanted to play a higher standard of football. The former Celtic star joined on transfer deadline day along with fellow Scot, Simon Lappin, who arrived from Scottish Premier League side St Mirren. Fotheringham had been training with Rangers for a week and looked set to join Walter Smith's men. However, having watched Peter Grant's side take on Wolves at Carrow Road on Tuesday evening, the 24-year-old was quick to change his mind. The former Dundee player said: "I went to watch Rangers against Hearts at the weekend, it was alright but I think the standard is a lot stronger in the Championship as a whole, with the amount of teams and the size of the clubs here so that was obviously a big decision for me but, I am just delighted to be down here, I'm buzzing." Fotheringham looks set to make his debut against Leeds at Carrow Road this weekend and admits he is excited about lining up with his new team-mates for the first time. "I am so impressed with the squad, we have got some good players here and I just can't wait to get started playing with them," he added.
  20. Vienna want Sebo, Papac ââ?¬â?? on the cheap AUSTRIA VIENNA have told Rangers they would welcome back Filip Sebo and Sasa Papac this summer - but for a drastically reduced fee. Paul Le Guen spent a combined sum of Ã?£2.4m on the pair after spending last summer vying with the Austrians to let the players leave. Both players have failed to live up to their price tags and have been unable to impose themselves on the SPL. Markus Kraetschmer, the Vienna general manager, said: "They are players we would be interested in. advertisement "But they went to Rangers for a lot of money and their prices would have to come down a lot if they were to return to Austria Vienna. Rangers signed good quality players from us, but then the manager was fired, and we read with some interest that Filip Sebo and Sasa have been flops. "We feared it would be the end for these players knowing Le Guen had gone. "I am surprised they have not done better, but maybe the new coach doesn't play the right system for them." Vienna are currently struggling at the bottom of their league and are keeping tabs on players they allowed to leave. Sebo and Papac would be delighted to quit Rangers to head to their former club, and it could yet be agreed if the price is right. "They went for a new challenge but we have kept in touch with them, and spoke on the phone at Christmas," said Kraetschmer. "I understand why they went, but our door is not closed for them." I still hope Sebo can come good but i don't see Papac getting much of a chance to be honest.
  21. Castle Greyskull is an old one Craig in fact i think we have accepted it and turned it round as a possitive, and now call it that ourselves. It gives us room to call Ibrox a fortress and the tims Skeletor, Hordak and the Snake Men. Maybe a Glasgow based person can confirm that.
  22. I agree Harley we must give him a clean sheet. He lost me after the Craig Moore incident and to be honest i don't rate him tactically, so i was glad to see him go. He has the Scotland job now and we must give him our support.
  23. As i said the bottom line is we do not play the game that suits him most. He is far more suited to a counter-attacking team. His goals yesterday were quick counters and breaking from his own half.We mostly have teams pushed back in there own half so he only has 20 yards to get past his defender and he is not a dribbler,(well with a ball anyway) he needs room to get up to speed and not from a standing start. He also does not have the ball control to recieve it with a player at his back. I think Boyd will score far more than Lovenkrands would have as he is a real poacher\goalscorer so i don't think we could have offered him a guaranteed start. I would rather have a player that is a bit smarter and can cross a ball rather than Lovenkrands to be honest even if he is a touch slower..
  24. I will say Shalke sucked Werder onto the sword by staying compact and breaking with speed which suited Lovenkrands. With Rangers we were pressing most of the time and Lovenkrands is less in a small area.
  25. Just watched Schalke- Werder Bremen and Lovenkrands was immense. Scored 2 and just missed the hat-trick by hitting the side net. The old adage is true give Rangers a good player an we will ruin him. Schalke sprung over Werder to go top with Bayern 11 points behind i believe.
