Seemingly Rangers offered him a pay if you play contract. His agent said he wants to play for Rangers but may move on. Aye!! If he dosn't play for Rangers he will chuck it imo. Maybe a one year deal would have been a gift of thanks to the big man.

http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1861_1888090,00.html Rangers have signed Danish striker Adda Djeziri on loan from BK Frem until the end of the season, when they may strike a permanent deal. The 18-year-old was recruited before the transfer window closed on Wednesday night, it has emerged, and will now have the chance to earn a permanent move to Ibrox. Djeziri said: "It's a big club. Everything about the club is good and it works well for everyone, so I am very pleased." The low-profile deal may not have an immediate impact on the first team, but Rangers will be hoping that Djeziri does enough to justify a long-term stay in Glasgow. Previous Danes to have enjoyed success at Ibrox include Brian Laudrup and Peter Lovenkrands. BK Frem head coach Anders Theil said: "It is of course a shame that we won't have Adda here this spring, but he has the chance to prove himself in Scotland. "It's good for Adda, and he could join Rangers after the loan period and BK Frem could receive some money." Theil said: "He's got good potential and he's a very quick player, but he is still young. "I don't think he will be near the first team in the first half year, although they have the option to buy him in the summer." Meanwhile Rangers are in no rush to sign Falkirk striker Alan Gow to a pre-contract agreement. They confirmed to Falkirk last week, after having three bids for the 24-year-old rejected, that it was their intention to bring Gow to Ibrox in the summer. With Gow in the final six months of his contract, Rangers are entitled to talk with the player, however a club spokesman confirmed that nothing was imminent. This went by without anything being said and not on the official site. Is it true or just another website rumour.

Another Window has shut and we have yet again made a profit. It is said it is building Walters treasure chest for the summer. Anyone starting to doubt that already.

He played quite a lot the first season he was there, until he got injured. That system suited him as the backs were not asked to get forward, Cocu moved from sweeper to the midfield and the backs plus Alex(CH) formed a back 3, when the other team were attacking Cocu fell back to sweeper. Under Koeman he has no chance as he is Ajax minded and the backs also have to get forward. He is imo a static player if you put him at LB he stays at LB and therfore is no threat in an overlap. You then get the static 442 we have also been watching for the last few years until Smith and Hutten have now started getting forward. We were spoiled with Numan as he was like a second winger. Which of course he was originally. I wish him the best of luck but sorry i don't rate him as he is far too static.

Yup i would expect to see some of these players in the A squad.

It must be a nightmare for all the other Scottish clubs that the old firm are back working the Scottish market.
-
Lets face it if Rangers were interested in any of us we would gladly ckuf the tims. Unless your Kenny Miller of course.

According to the times we have an agreement with Hibs and Brown to come in for 3 million in the summer. If it is not on paper then i would take that with a pinch of salt as we saw with Hartley. I believe Brown is a Rangers supporter though so with that and Thomson being with us hopefully we will bag him. Gow was supposidly with Walter at Airdre yesterday after closing the deal.
-
Was mentioned on another site that Watty entered the Airdie game with Gow nearing the end. More may come out tomorrow tht we have him sooner or later.

I already said i don't condone spitting but to link it to a sell at all cost penalty is OTT. I would say the same with all Rangers players and other teams. It is horrible but not the end of the world. I have no problem with Boyd exept he can not play football. As long as he scores in every game that is not a problem. If he goes a while without scoring then it does become a problem.

The strange thing Buba is that at the last window Rangers said there would be no more action, and they have not yet done that.

Read that Sebo spat in one of the Airdrie's players face, more ammunition for the ghtf squad. Even if he did do it, and it is the most horrible thing to do but i think the guy is as frustrated as hell that things are not working out. I certainly won't condone such behaviour but the guy is standing on his toes trying to get things to turn around so i can imagine his frustration.

The aptly named publicnuisance is doing just that banging on about a major late-night Celtic signing. "My source couldn't believe the player seen at Celtic Park" is his verdict and Juan Roman Riquelme is getting some heat as a future Bhoys player. Watch this space. From the beeb tranfer gossip website. They believe in fairies as well.

Maybe i am seeing things but at the end of the hibs game john Collins whispered something in Scott Browns ear which looked more than well played. Brown had a few claps and ran off the park. Maybe nothing but Collins just sayed he will be praying for midnight to pass without anything happening which is different than we will not sell.

RANGERS latest signing Kevin Thomson was given a 23 minute run-out in tonight's 3-0 win over Airdrie United at the Excelsior Stadium. Kevin Thomson The 22-year-old midfielder recieved a rapturous applause when he came off the bench to replace Alan Hutton in the second-half and he put in an impressive display in his short spell on the pitch. Walter Smith's team dominated the majority of the match and two first-half goals meant the Gers players could enjoy the second and give five substitutes a taste of the action. Davie Weir, one of Rangers best players on the night, opened the scoring with his first goal for the club on 21 minutes. Charlie Adam played a wicked free-kick into the penalty box from the left wing and the defender glaced the ball superbly beyond Airdrie keeper Stephen Robertson. There was not a lot of great football played in the opening 45 minutes but Chris Burke's strike to double his side's advantage was worth the admission fee alone. The winger, playing on the left, cut inside his marker before firing a terrific shot from 25 yards which flew into the roof of the net. Ally McCoist and Kenny McDowall were in charge of the team in the absence of manager Walter Smith, and they decided to take Weir and Svensson off at the interval and replace them Weir celebrates goal against Airdrie with Ugo Ehiogu and Sasa Papac. Thomas Buffel then came off the bench prior to the hour mark before Thomson was given the biggest cheer of the night when he was introduced to the game. Rangers retained possossion impressively in the second-half and the Rangers fans were out of their seats again with eight minutes remaining when Filip Sebo fired home a third, much to the delight of the travelling Gers support. Burke fed the ball to the Slovakian striker and he cut inside before firing a low right-foot shot through a ruck of players. The relief of his face after he finally found the net again said it all and it capped a good nights work for the Gers. RANGERS: Robinson (Gallacher 82); Hutton (Thomson 67), Svensson (Ehiogu 45), Weir (Papac 45), Murray; Burke, Adam, Rae, Sionko; Sebo, Novo (Buffel 58) Subs: Ferguson

I agree with that Gaz i was meaning we need that kind of player obviously i would also prefer a younger model. A bit like the wife really i would prefer a younger model there as well. Dont mention facial hair anyone.
-
Forgetting if you like the guy or not Hartley is the kind of player we have been crying out for.
-
There are absolutely no rumours about anyone we could be interested in. Maybe they are all waiting for the hibs game to finish.
-
Hartley is a Celtic player.
-
That is where i see him playing as sweeper. Behind the back 3 when defending and moving into midfield when we have the ball. Maybe i have been in Holland too long.
