Buffel has the potential to be a great player but not the heart to do it. Needs a trip to the wizard of OZ to get a heart to make him a star. Unless he bucks up it is follow the yellow brick road.

Agree with that he drives forward and scores from midfield which if he and Fergie take turns on making penetrating runs we may have a danger from the midfield that we have not had for years. That will also take a lot of pressure off the strikers as the defence will also have to watch runners and not just mark one man.

Surprised at that to be honest as i thought our main aim was Brown. I think Hibs were more willing to let Thomson go as they have been dropping him recently anyway. The Beeb reported Hibs as saying Brown won't be leaving in january but i suppose that depends on the price. I have one negative, i really like Hemdani and fear we may lose one of our few technically gifted players.

The midfielder has been offered a two-year deal by the Canaries but Fotheringham is said to favour a move to Rangers and Grant admits he is likely to lose out to the Gers. He was bought for Feynoord when he was young and sent out to Excelsior who were in the second division at that time. He had one really good season with feynoord next to van Hooidump but when Gullit took over he was dumped to the bench for roughly the same reasons that he has not made it by Rangers. Not enough fight or bite. I thought he might develope into a new Larsson as i rated him as high at that time, but i now realise that will never happen. He is just too frightened to get stuck in or go for gold.

I read that Arsenil had no interest in Gordon. Werner thought he was a good keeper but not in his first few choices. I think the day's of us paying 4 mil for a keeper are gone for the time being. Gordon has made more blunders than McGregor this year in the games i have seen so i would stick with Allen and put my money on a midfielder.
