I certainly don't think it is the captains job running round like a headless chicken trying to cover all the positions of people he judges to be playing bad. If he does think someone is not pulling their weight then he should ask the manager to change things. What is easier for our opponents to say, BF picks the ball up get 2 men on him and cut off his passing outlets. The games i have seen that is what is happening. Then Barry turns and turns until the opponents have 10 players behind the ball.

It is not Barry's job to judge on who is not doing their job it is the managers. Barry should know by now what a central-midfielders job is and have instructions from the manager. If he does not follow these instructions then he is not doing his job.

It also depends on how things are said. Action gets reaction. If someone starts sreaming at me, be they right or wrong, my immediate reaction is to scream back. Trying to get a point accross is lost by screaming at someone.

Gersjim that is maybe the problem, that he wants to do too much. If he would try and get forward more instead of picking every ball off the defence it might get better dividends.

Eveyone is entitled to their opinion. I am not a great Barry fan either and to be honest i won't be sorry to see him go. I do wonder though if Rangers are orchestrating things to replace Barry with possibly Brown and\or Thomson. It would take a lot of sting out of the pro-Fergie fans if he was sent away a bad boy.

No matter what i will always support Rangers through thick and thin but Murray is just a name on the paylist. He obviously has not got his heart in the job and wants out. On the Radio tonight that an un-named club have put an offer in for him. Le Guen denied it but managers always do. I think we should put him out his misery and let him go. Agreed his agent is talking bullshit. Yes he is going to stay and play for Wigan reserves instead of turning out at Ibrox. These are all statements to try and boost his wage. If his agent says he desperatly wants away then his wage value goes down. The sting in the tail is Wigan don't know how much they have to pay Hearts that is why they won't name a price. Celtic claim to have the best youth system in Scotland but over the years they have signed far more ex-Rangers players than we have players from them. That used to be religeous based but not anymore.
