Ibrox absolutely deserves a European final, but I can't see either of the OF stadia getting them because of accusations of bias by the other half. Pretty much Hampden is the only safe choice. But in saying that, I re-assert I'd love Ibrox to get a final.

Boab is a terrific passer of the ball, and his reading of the game has improved vastly, but he isn't quite Rangers class. Good luck to him though. As for Rae, he put in a terrific shift for the last few games last season, and it's a shame it just hasn't worked out for him overall. Again, good luck to him. Fanfan can get tae...

Well the report on Scotland Today gave me a better picture of the facts. A wee English kid who was jogging was attacked by some guy in his 20s wearing a Rangers jersey simply it seems for wearing an England top. And in a seperate incident, a disabled taxi driver was dragged from his cab by some perp, maybe the same guy, and also beaten. Both are absolutely abhorent and I can't quite formulate the words to express how repugnant this behaviour is. Good on the wee kid and the cabbie for continuing to wear their jerseys - there are some right morons out there, and such morons prevent me from wearing MY Rangers jersey in public.

I am not diminishing the nature of the crime, just saying the Sun are known to lie more than once. I don't trust them. Frankly I loathe them. Even the BBC's website is better. But this is peripheral to the debate.

'Oh, I love the accent' You can tell she's a bear Absolutely fantastic to see it.
-
Ahhhh, I couldn't get the grin off my coupon there. Seeing him in the proud Rangers suit speaking as the Rangers manager in public for the first time. Su-feckin'-perb.
-
Crying out loud he's 34! Talk about a pensioner! In saying that we'll probably sign Zidane, who's about 86.
-
It's a sign of the times that people have second thoughts about wearing football jerseys in public. I know I never would.
-
Well, maybe not football strictly speaking, but a combination of nationality and football. I agree in theory, absolutely, but remember one thing: The Sun is hardly known as a bastion or integrity and fact. They are unlikely to be telling the whole story. So, in one fell swoop we're starting to see the actual picture. Quite right though, he's no Rangers fan in anyone's book. Sounds like the guy is slightly mentally ill to feel the need to assault a kid and a disabled man.

Well, it's 6 minutes till 1pm, and I'm not hearing a lot...

Unfortunately, my friends, this is the price we have to pay to have football in our lives. There are some really sick morons out there, and something as 'controversial' as football causes incendiary incidents like this. It's absolutely repugnant and beyond condemnation, hitting a 7 year old kid, of course it is, and I would never condone it, but behaviour like this is inevitable in a country as football crazy as ours. We get similar violence between the OF - the Scottish English hatred is a parable. It's such a sad state of affairs. I never wear my Rangers jersey outside except when going to a game, and even then, it would never come out till I was among my fellow supporters. Wearing an England jersey in Scotland is like wearing a Rangers jersey in Parkhead, and you will always get inbreds who want to hurt you.

Interesting, AV are who we got Sionko from.
-
It's actually sinking in. He's our manager! Ahhhh, man, good times.
-
He seems to have grown up a lot since his Newcastle days, not heard any reports of him being a a'hole at Celtic or Blackburn, and just happens to be an absolutely terrific striker. Be a great move for him to go to Liverpool.

For such a spoof site it's awfully deadpan. If you look around that site it doesn't appear to be taking the piss with any other stories. There are only 2 errors: The sport tab doesn't take you to sport. The business tab is spelled 'buisness' in the status bar. Is this site definitely a total parody?
-
PLG seems to really, really rate Clement. I know nothing about him but I believe he's a left winger. Is this correct? If it is, isn't that where Sionko played for the Czechs the other day?
-
The problem is which players are definitely not Rangers class? Eck was able to make good/great players absolutely guff - look at Novo - had a cracking first season and now he's one of our abject failures. I just think every player deserves the slate cleaned and a new chance under PLG. If they're still guff, give them the heave. But give them the chance to prove themselves.
-
Well you're getting mine. Sweden are the first good side England have faced, and I completely expect Sweden to win this group. I don't often support Larsson, but I'll be right behind him to bang in a hat trick. England just aren't very good. It's that simple.
-
Well when the fans boo you, it affects your game. He's already gone on record as saying he's unsure about his future as he feels unloved by the Real fans.
-
Wish I could help, but I avoid the place with a bargepole now. Used to use it a lot, but if it's gone down, well, I won't shed a tear.
-
Thing is he's never been an especially slim player - he was always bulky. Now people are getting on his back about it because his performances are currently less than impressive. I'll leave that stuff to the Suns and Stars of this world. I can't agree he's past it. I know it seems like he is, but the guy's not even 30 yet. How can he be over the hill already? I just think if he is mentally right, he'll be the Ronaldo we really know again.
-
We have an awful lot of players who we perceive as dead wood, but let's see if PLG can get more out of them than Eck did. I'm not for a massive clearout as much as I'd actually like it, for the simple reason we don't have the money to replace the apparent average players with quality ones. So give the whole squad the chance to earn its stripes under PLG, even including the likes of Bernard and Fanfan. We don't have the money to do otherwise.
-
That's about the shape of it. I know folk have said he's much better for Tunisia than us, but I don't see a lot of evidence of that. He gets caught offside all the time, he lacks positional sense, and he just seems mediocre. I'd be surprised if PLG sees him as an integral part of the new era.
-
Ronaldo is rolls royce but something's troubling him again. He's disliked by Real supporters for a start, and the thought of another season there where he doesn't feel loved is possibly affecting his world cup. If you recall, he was at Inter at the last world cup and won his move to Real prior to the tournament starting. This time he's unhappy at the Bernabau with no move imminent. And then there were his dizzy spells. If he is a happy player he's absolutely superb, but if not...well...he's dire.
-
I know a few folk wanted us to sign him. I didn't. He's an alright player but comparable with the likes of Fortune. Nothing to be worried about imo.
