  1. I think it would be a disgrace to make light of grooming a girl online by making a chant about it at a football ground, and I think you know that Zappa. If you want to do something about protecting children from grooming, do it through the proper channels. Any fan who condones supporters giving Hearts abuse about this at a football ground is truly shameful. How is it going to help the victims in any way?
  2. Calscot hits the nail on the head. Me and Gav tore into the side and the result after the Lotte match, and were utterly hung by almost everyone on here for over reacting - we were mocked and ridiculed and everyone told us results in these games don't matter, it's about fitness. Now you lot have gone absolutely ape following the Bochum humiliation, completely flying in the face of what you said before. The only one who still seems to be sticking to his guns about fitness is Ian, so while I disagree with him, fair play for his lack of hypocrisy. The rest of you though, seriously. Rangers fans have me lost for words at times.
  3. Not sure why folk in this thread are calling it a rumour when Ally himself is the one talking about it. That might just be why the official site is running with it.
  4. That we'd use any of these kiddie fiddling themes as chants against Hearts when we play them. It's all extremely distateful enough as it is without football fans making almost light of it by using it in the terraces. I hope we're better than that.
  5. Hearts are sending out lots of mixed messages about this. First Romanov supports him, then axes him, then lets him back in via an escape route of a different club. What a shambles of an organisation.
  6. We're losing out to really shite teams. Danns to Leicester, this guy to CP. We cannot compete with championship teams. That, tbh, is worryiing.
  7. Nah, you stick by your sugar coated words and I'll stick with mine.
  8. Then with all due respect your first sentence is totally redundant.
  9. Ally talking down our chances of getting Cuellar now. Our defence desperately needs additions - frankly only one of our current players is 'good' enough and that's Whittaker, purely on the basis that he's one of our 'untouchables' so he will always start. But Weir, Papac, Broadfoot and Bougherra is a hideous collection of first teamers to be going into the new season with. I'd never heard of this Rodriguez guy - 500k seems like a bit too cheap. I fear he's the Spanish Kirk Broadfoot at that price.
  10. I'm not sure - I thought it was Leicester?
  11. If Rangers were being relegated there's no way I'd have been that restrained. Need to check out the chicks though, my connection is fucked these last 2 days so not seen all the video.
  12. Ok, to make you happy I change my adjective and now call him an average player. HAPPY!?
  13. Ally McCoist has rated his prospects of making a move for Australian international midfielder Mile Jedinak as “less than 50/50”. Jedinak, who is available on a free transfer having left Turkish side Genclerbirligi, was at Murray Park on Monday touring the club’s facilities. “There’s a little bit of work to be done there,” McCoist said. “It’ll be a long road before it’s through, or not through. “There’s a chance but I would have to say less than 50/50.” The 26-year-old was linked with Crystal Palace last month and reports also attributed Harry Redknapp with an interest in taking him to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window. Jedinak started his professional career with Sydney United in 2000, spending three seasons with the club before switching to Croatian side NK Varteks Varazdin. A year later, he returned to his previous employers, playing two more seasons before signing for Central Coast Mariners. In 2008, he left Australia for Turkey to sign for Genclerbirligi. He also spent time on loan with another Turkish club, Antalyaspor, before departing his parent club on a free transfer at the end of the 2010/11 season. The 6ft 3in player has 22 international caps for the Socceroos and would require a work permit to move to Scotland if Rangers decided to make a move. But, having featured heavily for Australia - ranked 22nd in the world - over the past two years, he would face little problem in obtaining the necessary endorsement from the Scottish Football Association.
  14. The term doesn't always have to mean that a player has literally played for lots of clubs. I just used it to mean 'meh'.
  15. Ah, mods might want to merge these.
  16. Where did all the other replies in this thread go?
  17. That warms the cockles of my heart...
  18. I remember the former Wigan player Arjen de Zeeiew (sp) who was spat on in a game, might actually have been doofey, and he said in an interview afterwards he'd much rather be punched in the face than spat on.
  19. Well McCulloch's manager is contradicting him, last I heard.
  20. I thought, bar his shambolic debut, that Foster did really rather well here, and certainly no worse than Whittaker or Papac. Problem is it shows how weak we've been in those positions since Hutton left that we're singing up the performance of a decent journeyman like Foster.
  21. Shocking - quite simply this shouldn't happen with the standard of manufacturing we're used to these days. 1998 it was built. Never should have collapsed.
  22. As much as I dislike the fucker, Boyd actually did quite well at Forest so I'm surprised Boro have binned him. But after the way he treated us he can go to hell anyway. Or Turkey, as it's otherwise known.
  23. Weir hasn't signed anything yet.
  24. Well done to Gav for stirring with a ladle!
  25. Danny

    Joe Cole

    Ridiculous thread tbh.
