I assumed it was 'Or-teez'.

Carlos wants to come, we already know this. It simply remains up to Eck to decide whether or not to let him go. Or more to the point, us to up our bid a bit. We were never getting Cuellar for £1.5M.
-
Nice, good to see it's done and dusted. Last 2 or 3 days have been good.

Official? Not heard anything. Or does that prove your point?

I'm not sure how us signing someone shows that you can't believe everything you read. Albeit I would agree that it's better not to.
-
Everything seemed to be going very quiet, so this wee burst of activity over the past 2 days with getting folk signed up plus potentially bringing in 3 new players is a vast improvement. Just pleased that we are finally getting somewhere.
-
tbh that depresses me, and it's why I'm holding out hope for Wilson, Cuellar and Bartley.
-
Let's just wait till it's officially confirmed. As for this guy, looks like a shiny winger who's got plenty of experience of a top league - his manager is gutted at potentially losing him and I've heard no one say a bad word about him. My only note of caution is he isn't a spring chicken any more - 29 isn't that young for a winger. But it's a minor quibble. Really pleased to see us looking like bringing someone in.
-
Off the pitch he is as sound as a dollar pound. Doesn't he have a charity foundation? Bit like Totti - complete nutter on the pitch but off it a totally different story.
-
Trust me Coisty, bring in all 3 of these guys and you've made your marquee signings right there.
-
No matter what I personally think in the case of Whittaker, it's good work from the club and Ally in particular to retain so many of our marquee players. Davis is vitally important and showed his true class after the split last season. I just hope, assuming he signs, that he can improve his year-round form to a level closer to the last 5 games.
-
The only benefit so far of the new ownership has been retaining key players and the removal of the debt. Not a bad thing. But... It still remains early days but it's starting to feel like we're not going to spend much money on new players.
-
The whole contract negotiations shenanigans have left a sour taste in the mouth about Whittaker - I hope he's not being paid a massive wage because he simply doesn't deserve it. Useful player but no more - just have to hope he justify's Ally's astonishing faith in him.
-
Going by the silly money footballers get, and by how good he's been for us in recent years, McGregor is entirely worth this wage - indeed, it's exactly the wage I suggested he would get.
-
I think it's saying something for how badly our transfer campaign is going that this thread has disintegrated into mild bickering and general discussion.
-
I know you don't want this particular player, but does it not bother you to see us miss out on target after target? I count at least 5 or 6 players we've lost out on now.
-
Apparently Lennon was involved with a spat with an official. Again. And he can 'hail' the display all he likes - the more he plays up this pariah role, the more it's him and the fans against the world, the more it will affect the football and the more we can take care of things on the pitch.
-
Rumour has it he did ask for a transfer actually. But oh well regarding this, another player we miss out on. Que sera sera.
-
Apologies. But another day, another lack of any transfers at all. Not even any news today
-
Never has a picture's irony been so obvious...

"Was great to see the champions! Gonna miss u.. Good luck this season, 4 in a row;)"

Fleck just isn't very good. Wylde is infinitely better albeit after his sparkling debut V PSV he faded somewhat.

I'll check out the Vlad tweet and get back to you.

Dundee Utd release a strange statement about Goodwillie
Danny replied to Danny's topic in Rangers Chat
It all goes back to that old postponed match and the fact that Utd wouldn't refund the away supporters who had to pay again. I think my memory serves me? -
Nasri was one of the best players in England last season. £20M even when he's in his last year is a steal if Jones and Henderson cost about the same amount. Man City clearly intend to challenge for the league next year, and he is the kind of player who can help them do it.
