  1. McLeod still benched. Temps retains his spot. Peralta ahead of Faure does not excite me.
  2. Last time she was being a bigoted boot I co planned to the uni and they didn't give a fuck. Maybe if more complain? How she can be employed in an educational establishment I don't know. As students there is a certain level of conduct expected of you and if you were to do something that could be seen to harm the unis reputation you could be kicked off your course. Why she doesn't have to behave as a decent human being as a representative of the uni I do not know.
  3. And Jeanette Findlay is employed by my old uni. Waiting for their next begging letter to come through the door before I send another email telling them it is because of her they will never receive anything from me.
  4. Let's get some more match predictions in here then: http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?59723-Match-Prediction-League Early days in the competition so still time to join in and do well. Let's see who really knows their football?
  5. Not quite what the headline suggests is it. Our media are taking the piss frankly. How is engaging with these biased lying bastards working? Any of them started reporting honestly and even handedly?
  6. Like Davie Weir or youn Barry Ferguson when he broke into the team if you are good enough you are old/young enough. Who are our best players? Wallace, McCulloch, Mohsni, Daly. They'll all do for me. A blend of youth and experience is best.
  7. Tweeted from the club press conference today: Add in Little's injury.
  8. Agree with all that and would like McKay to get a shot to show what he can do. I expect though if ally deploys a team with any width it would be Templeton again. My team would be: Bell Peralta Jig Mohsni Wallace McKay Law Black McLeod Daly Clark Wouldn't be upset if Templeton did play over McKay though.
  9. I think our greatest opponent in retaining a 100% record is complacency. The league is virtually won in all honesty. The only things keeping it interesting are how long can we continue this winning streak going (and if we draw a game it will be interesting to see if we can remain undefeated, to a lesser extent) and hopefully a cup run. There's been the odd away game, e.g. I think Forfar away, where we have struggled to a narrow win. Hopefully we wont see too many games like that. And it would be nice to get an early goal. Hell it would be nice to get a goal or two before half time for once. I think last year is a perfect example of how difficult it is to go any league season with a 100% record. The further you stretch the lead the harder it is to remain focused and entirely professional. That may not be totally palatable but I think it is a truth and human nature. And even without that, even if the players can remain completely dedicated to churning out results, better teams still sometimes fail to perform. Getting a bit away from the match thread now, but I hope we can keep the record going.
  10. Thinking on it, this may be a chance to play Peralta at RB and see if he is any better there as that is another one of his positions is it not?
  11. Trying to look on the positive side with Clark. Not saying it will pan out that way with him but sometimes people thrive knowing there is less pressure to perform and they will be given more time to learn and develop in the role. Could be right on Peralta. Would love to be wrong. Just yet to be impressed. Not sure what attributes he does have yet other than a bit of dig and i'm sure we could have got that for less from a homegrown player.
  12. Match predictions in here: http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?59723-Match-Prediction-League Just a bit of fun. And with a maximum 6 points available (3 for correct scoreline 3 for correct first goal scorer) you're not too far behind if you join in now. (Leader or 9 down to 1 point at the bottom). Winner can have a week abroad at craig's. ;-)
  13. So, shame for Little but it gives Clark more regular game time and perhaps the pressure of not having to perform (knowing Little wont come in if he isn't playing well and scoring) might free him up, allow him to relax and play a bit better. I suspect McCulloch will start sporting the Richard Gough look. What of Foster? Is he out? If so Faure comes in and whilst no natural right back, Foster's performances have been less than spectacular so should cause no great dramas. Faure's initial involvements were a little erratic. Confusion between himself and a midfielder (black?) allowed the ball to spill to a Dunfermline forward and left McCulloch exposed and caught between players. After that it was more assured if not exactly eye catching stuff. Still not seeing the superstar many did at the start of the year but I dont think he will be significantly worse than Foster. What of Templeton? I think he tried hard. A case of trying too hard to impress? Picking passes that weren't on, crossing from too far out and sometimes trying to beat one man too many. Some seemed keen for Clark to be allowed to play his way into form. Do we afford Templeton the same luxury? Possible line up? Bell Faure Jig Mohsni Wallace Peralta Black Law McLeod Daly Clark For what its worth I think our biggest issue there is Peralta. If he's not good enough to play CM ahead of Law and Black then bench him because he isn't a right mid. Crawford again is not exceptional but is preferable to the Honduran.
  14. Bad news for the rest of the squad. Someone will need to take up his place as whipping boy in his absence.
  15. Game stopped for about 6 mins for Little injury and a couple of mins for Foster before any other stoppages. Shite game disrupted by fouls and injuries.
  16. Good point Zappa. Bell Foster Mohsni Jig Wallace Peralta Law Black McLeod Daly Clark Isn't too much stronger than: Bell Foster Mohsni Jig Smith Little Law Black Templeton/McKay Daly Clark Doesn't seem great when you look at that.
  17. Came across this today: Interesting to note should we defeat Falkirk n draw an SPL team.
  18. Yep, that's my point. Before I may have believed the BBCs quality and impartiality but watching a show where I knew the subject material called their integrity and supposed quality into doubt.
