  1. I think we't get torn apart out wide with that.
  2. The bashing comments from Messi weren't really relevant or necessary and were first aimed at Celtic. what were the other comments referenced in the last line?
  3. This may not make him a villain bu that doesn't mean he's a fake enemy.
  4. Doesn't read as if his attitude has improved any and also appears to contradict himself regarding the pressure and expectation at a young age.
  5. Can't get too exited yet. They seem to get away with everything.
  6. Maybe the guys who sit near him will tell him what they think at upcoming games? Prick.
  7. Dunno. They were posted on FF through last year. We were consistently and considerably the best.
  8. Within the previous sky/Espn deal and now sky/bt deal we were only ever scheduled for about 10 or 12 games. Still a side indictment of the top league that the only way they could get a deal was with a bunch of games from the bottom or 2nd bottom tier tagged on.
  9. The idea we should have randomly changed our game completely from our strengths and attacked a team who pumped Bayern out of Europe is frankly hilarious. Yet numerous Rangers fans trot it out.
  10. Nothing? We all know his faults but there's definitely a thing or two he could teach our forwards.
  11. Scores a decent number of goals for teams at the wrong end of the PL. Wouldn't want them to get him. Why would he go? Why would Sunderland sell for this sum? Wanting to guarantee relegation?
  12. I thought I read Arsenal settled for a tiny fraction of what was owed but I dont know if this was just speculation. We were HMRCs test case. Dont know they would have run two test cases so settled with Arsenal?
  13. Ross County won in his round of fixtures leaving hearts 16 behind before the Edinburgh derby kicked off. Looking likely Hearts will be in the Championship next year. Boyd scored again too for Killie. ;-)
  14. Ddi you see him being questioned about it in the studio before the game the other day? He seemed pretty keen.
  15. Alan Hutton was one of the original Andy Little's or whoever else is chosen to be pilloried irrespective of his actual contribution. Not too long ago I was about the only poster on here who rated Hutton. And it took many fans about 4 months to realise how well he was playing when he had his best season with us. Many have their opinion on a player and it's set almost forever. Like Hutton it takes people forever to change it. Laughable that many want a lot of young players thrown out the squad yet cite Hutton as an example of what we could end with from the kids below the first team. Most would have tossed out Hutton before he "came good".
  16. Craig, Gribz and Ian. Agree with most on Gav's original list. Would keep Little and Hutton.
  17. Weird that most teams attendances are down then. And almost no rangers fans would accept those Aberdeen "starlets" in our team.
  18. I said to my bro it was never a pen. Got Arsenal on in the background, when Clark missed I looked over at the Arsenal game as ball was out of play in our game. Looked back at ours to be shocked we'd been awarded a pen.
  19. The manager could use that excuse but frankly it would be bollocks. All managers are pretty guilty of this and I see the same crap in other sports like rugby too. Just pick your best team. And right now that doesn't include Peralta. Probably the worst performer in the starting XI right now when other players have come in and performed better. It stinks.
  20. Don't disagree. But no one would be happy if our team was the 11 players representing Scotland at any level. Typically Rangers XI is much better than Scotland's. Present circumstances not withstanding. Even then I'm not sure many of our fans would be taking players out of the Scotland team into ours.
  21. Cowardly decision typical of the modern day football manager. Apparently "experience" trumps form and ability. Really pissed off with that one.
  22. The comment that struck me is about the number of players let go who've represented Scotland at age levels. I don't see that as particularly mattering. Most are fans have higher standards for Rangers than what Scotland put out. Many players who play nationally at youth level don't succeed or excel as a senior pro. Ok we're at a lower standard than we aspire to be but I still just don't think it's totally relevant.
  23. Was their total not fairl crap. Especially so when you factor in that 12 points more than normal were a lot easier up for grabs.
