  1. Anyone frequent their sites? Found this on FF:
  2. Boyd is 9 goals off becoming the all time top scorer in the SPL. In which game do we think he'll take the record? Upcoming games: Aberdeen (A) Falkirk (A) St Johnstone (H) Dundee United (A) Motherwell (H) Hibs (A) Dundee United (H) Celtic (A) 8 goals in the games preceeding Celtic with the 9th against them?
  3. Don't be hard on yourself Tony. 2-1 isn't a huge gulf.
  4. Bit late for that no? I believe you started quite a while ago.
  5. Maybe I will. You tedious cunt. I'm fairly certain that different interpretations of the rules have been used across world football even though FIFA are the world governing body. For example I do not believe the "new" offside rule was introduced at the same time across the world game.
  6. A Bundesliga game is not a FIFA sanctioned game though is it?
  7. Rangers win, Boyd for at least one. Not sure about the rest.
  8. That's what I was trying to say Gav.
  9. There are certain things I like a lot about Keane. Incidents such as Haaland are not some of these things, but there are things to admire imo.
  10. Ha ha, Aye like the rest of their squad. My wee bro said to me yesterday about a £7mil bid for Brown by Bolton. I guess it was in the gossip column on BBC or somewhere. Mentioned to him they do this all the time with Boruc, McGeady etc but if anyone actually bid that for any of their players they'd be off. More bs.
  11. Just for Macafelly : Edit: And:
  12. Could have been funny. Smith back as manager. Boyd, Fergie and McGregor in the starting line up with Miller and Naismith: McGregor Hutton Weir Berra Wallace Brown Fergie Fletcher Naismith Boyd Miller Test the TA's loyalty.
  13. Just saw something at the bar on the bottom of Sky Sports News. Loovens is a doubt so Josh Thompson could make his debut at Tannadice. Who the hell is that?
  14. He is, but that's only one part of the issue and not a part anyone has been debating.
  15. Hutton was fouled. Foul play is by definition cheating. In any case, I still answered your point. It did happen to us and I and the Rangers support, family, whatever you want to call it, managed to avoid making a massive cunt of ourselves. The media campaign is sickening. Go listen to Roy Keane's views on it.
  16. I would be. I was when it happened to us. I didn't scream blue murder for days afterwards or ask for the rules that govern the game to be changed to suit me and the team I support such as asking for the Barca-Rangers game to be replayed. It is embarassing for the Irish and i'm a little disappointed that so many people have been suckered in by it. Where you so offended by the Hutton free-kick incident when Italy put us out? That was a big game, it happened at our end of the field and not in the middle of the park. This whoel episode is becoming ridiculous.
  17. Saw some of an interview (this same one?) on SSN. Was absolutely brilliant. Well said that man. Ps. not watched this video yet.
  18. Degrees of cheating. Run of the mill game versus a big match. We're descending into nonsensical bullshit here. THe rules of the game are the rules of the game and don't change to suit media agenda's and hyperbole. You're either Southern Irish or have been badly sucked in by the media campaign.
  19. 1 cunt behind me in the pub waited for the cheering to die down and then shouted i'm not cheering a goal by that cunt.
  20. It's an interesting line you;ve taken the debate down Zappa, aprticulalry with the comparison with American Football across the pond. I think it also ties in well with Pete's assertion that we need to improve football from the lowest levels up. Quite how you arrange this I don't know though.
  21. You might well be right. But that doesn't allow you to retrospectively punish Henry with new rules.
  22. During part of the academic year they tried to make me do dance. Dance for fucks sake. Needless to say I didn't participate and it's probably why I need several beers before hitting a dance floor. During the different terms there were normally options though. I excelled in a few sports; football, rugby, athletics. And due to my competitive nature was passable in most others for school level. Why not let the kids do sports that they actually enjoy? Mine was a "rugby" school too so perhaps explains the antipathy towards the footy team. Anyway, dragging things off topic.
  23. Zappa, at my secondary school (in England) the head of P.E ended up letting the captain pick the team. Basically picked his mates. Now granted this tended to be most the best players, but a few were excluded due to being part of different crowds. Frankly shocking.
  24. I like the fishing/iceberg analogy pete. I was being a bit narrowminded in not considering the wider, grass roots level I guess. But concentrating on elite performers is what interest me and I need to be mindful that at the youth level they come from the wide base of the pyramid (or iceberg) of participants. I'm a bit shocked by McCart's comments about being a bit blinkered towards Glasgow as well. Does anyone really care if our youths come from Glasgow, Dundee or even the Highlands, so long as they are the best?
  25. It was until "spammer" got invovled. Get it back on topic zappa.
