No comments over Balde either. And I believe BD's assertion that he was trying to "do" the Romanian first and came off second best to be correct.

I'm not saying he's faultless, but do we just keep a record of every mistake a player makes in his career as a reason not to play them? Or is that something someone with an agenda against a given player does? I remember the calls. Alexander had done nothing wrong, so why drop him? I somewhat agreed. That's different to not wanting McGregor in because he's been poor though. When he had an error at Hearts, the calls intensified, though he also redeemed himself in that game. He has since shown, on form, Smith made the right call. And whilst understanding the fans, I backed Smith's decision. It's hard being right all the time.

FUnny you should say that Zappa, the co-commentator just said "normally there are 1 or 2 positives you can take from a defeat but I can't see anything that he can take from today"!

Vogts mk II? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/3496099.stm At 1-0 I switched to the Rugby and watched Scotland win at something.

Aye the wicked deflections and own goals.

Start brightly, Miller and McFadden unlucky not to have us ahead and then behind to the first real attack. Commentator says we only scored 6 in 8 qualifiers with even bottom placed Iceland scoring more. You might wanna try talking to this guy George:

You're at it. It's all very well talking about all the mistakes he's made in his career. Do we do that to any other player? Or do we talk about form and the player they've turned into? Bar the Hearts error he's been top quality recently. How about you stop talking rubbish.

If the team I saw unofficially is correct, yes.

Good effort rbr, hopefully he'll pick it up. He is a mong and him and roughie do just take opposing views on everything to stir debate. Whilst he is no "friend" of Rangers, the nature of his show means that sometimes the side of a story showing us in a good light does get aired whereas other media sources would ignore it. (Hope that makes sense? )

More proof Burley doesn't have a fecking clue; 3 of the Celtic back 4 starting. That's 3 players from a team who conceded 3 to Falkirk and have been uniformly rank this year.* There is no way they are the best options. Fox straight into the Scotland squad once he signed for Celtic. How long did Hutton etc have to wait whilst playing a damn sight better? *Even if they haven't all been playing e.g. against Falkirk, that's worse. It means they can't get into a terrible back line and what happened to not starting if you are not playing for your club?
-
Horse shit. Top quality keeper with people still keen to talk up his errors for some reason. Certainly pushing Gordon close at the very least and when Gordon is not fit you would be a moron to not admit McGregor is easily the best bet.

Hutton, star man.

If he goes for a good fee this time i'll be even more annoyed.

Good to have you back. You wracked (sp.) up a few posts before.

Sounds like she needs a good slap and put in her place. They are not the "fun police". They are not there to ensure that nobody enjoys their time at the footy. So why do they act like that is their job?

THat's an awful long way of saying yeh I agree SA. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Shroomz there may be a difference between needing to sell and actually doing it, but your arguement with Ian was "what if we only receive an offer for Wilson". Well that argument is only valid if we need to sell. If we don't then only receiving a bid for Wilson is irrelevant and hence we don't need to accept any derisory bid that we receive for him.

I hope so. I didn't mean it as an insult to Fleck, more praise of Wilson.

I dont think we will accept any offer for Wilson. Realistically no one will offer more than £2-3mil for unproven talent, if even that. I just don't see us getting an offer for him that we cannot refuse. No one else will be daft enough to make that offer just yet.

Would be daft to sell him. Looking at the way he's took to first team football, compared to Fleck, he may be the biggest talent we have on the books. No disrespect to Fleck meant and yes it is early doors, but surely it's one of the toughest positions to break into a team in at such an early age? Edit: Ps when did "The poster formerly known as Shroomz" and MF become best mates?

You've gotta love the Hamburg boys though. The displays against Celtic, top class, the display pre-Manchester, top class, the singing when they played City (I think) last year, top class.

I like the idea that we should make a display for Hamburg too. I think it's clear this isn't like Celtic and their "special relationships" with every team in Europe. Pete looks to have a good point on geography and rivals tho.

Slightly more promising news.
