Think this started off in the 'Tally press as I saw a dodgy translation of a story earlier in the week. Didn't repost here as it was such an awful story. I'll allow you to take the incoming instead.

We Are The Champions. Official Pics, links & video thread

This thread is always there for a good bump or two. :spl: -
That's awesome Frankie. Guy top left is my old lecturer. Top bloke. If only I was a couple of years younger I might have been able to get in for some work experience.

Kris Boyd's goal is to stay put ...and bag another title for Rangers

Excellent summary of the situation. Would be madness not to keep him. -
Sturridge >>>> Chelsea no?

Maybe, they are a championship side though and about Jones level.

Looked a decent option for Scotland. But maybe that says more about a lack of decent wide options for Scotland. Having said that, maybe gribz has a point about us signing him then.

Ha ha. More good news at Setanta's demise. Well for Pete at least.

Whilst I wouldn't suggest there is no one within our wider support who holds bigoted or sectarian views, they are in the minority and in any case can you be bigoted or sectarian against one individual in Speirs? He deserves all he gets in terms of verbal abuse. He is and has been one of the biggest problems in stirring up and worsening the sectarianism debate despite his pretence at a crusader against it. If you only accuse one side of wrong doing you are in now way tackling the problem and by completely ignoring the ills of one side you are exacerbating the problem.

Alan Baxter, an Olympic medalist for Britain at the winter Olympics had his medal taken off for use of an illegal substance. The reason? The same nasal spray had different chemicals in it in the US compared to the Uk version.

I think the only realistic target audience for the foreign market is ex-pats and Rangers fans. I understand what you are saying about fans of individual players. Did Numan and some of the Dutch boys not help set up a supporters club and travel company for fans coming over from there? I'm not sure there is enough of a market to sell our games that way though. I don't know if there would be enough interest/subscribers. That third party would be the website would it not. We don;t even run that. Like many clubs we have the some provider there. I know World show the games Craig. But in light of your post about it being a poor service that's why I was asking about RTV taking up the work of Rangers World to broadcast the games live, but only outside the UK where they don't infringe upon broadcasting agreements (e.g. no Saturday 3pm kick offs broadcast in the UK). I don't know what the right answers are here. I don't know if we can afford to run our own channel when considering what I said about MUTV. So perhaps an improved service from the website, with a proper stream is the answer. I do no profess to understand the technical aspect of those issues though and how an illegal stream can be considerably better than the official one?

While their stores are full of Celtic gear. Why are we continuing a deal with a company who actively promote our biggest rivals over us?

For the reported £3-4mil? I hope so.

So typically greed from the broadcaster has seen the fans miss out. But that is just another reason for the club to offer a service via the website. (Will reply to the other guys later. Off out now.)

Get the bigot out of Scotland! :spl:

Gers have accepted Blackpool's £500,000 bid for Charlie Adam.
Super_Ally replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Aye, when Robert said £500k was as much as we could expect my first thought was that was a sad indictment of our abilities in the transfer market rather than a reflection of Adam's ability and worth. -

Aye, at least a good 30% though. We're being robbed for £500k. -

I'm unsure about the broadcasting rights and legalities of it all, but for British based fans they broadcast the full game on the Monday usually (I think). However might they be able to set up something similar to Rangers World but with Rangers tv whereby they could broadcast the game live outside of Britain? Would solve the issue for yourself and bring in added revenue to the club from expats that would help fund RTV. Perhaps someone else can explain the legality of it all.

Never looked at it before myself but imagine Frankie and some others may be aware of it. In fact is it what of the suggested resources in the writers' forum?

Is this where football is headed? Like a continent wide version of American sport?

Like the re-write for the final paragraph. I really think that if Pompey can provide some sort of free-to-air service on their website we should be able of at least matching that. With this season's double win there has been some classic RTV momments of which everyone has seen the youtube clips. If we'd never had it in the first place I don't think anyone would miss it. But with the improving quality of programmes I would be disappointed if we didn't manage some kind of replacement.
