champions league & europa league prize money 2009/10
Super_Ally replied to rbr's topic in Rangers Chat
Thanks for posting that here. Saw your previous post elsewhere and glad you included that first bit in bold and underlined here as I was the idiot who didn't understand it before. Bluedell posted a good response of what the CL meant to us in guaranteed fees (with a little reasonable projected fees for points earned). Would be good if he could recap here. -
I'll answer my own question then, NO!!! BBC More lost income for the first losers. :spl:
-
Dunno why, but that was my favourite line. That and some other comments give the impression he'll be extra motivated to "earn" it next time. Not that he didn't contribute significantly this time.

Just found out Spain are playing IRaq. 1-0 up about 58 mins. Wanted to watch them again after the doing they handed out in their last game. On the iplayer on the website or available via red button on bbc.

He should be well aware, he's been there before!

Have they not spent much? Scott Brown? We've spent a little more than previous seasons, due to getting good fees in though. So whilst we have strengthened in some areas, our squad, our first, has been depleted by an £8mil centre back at the same time. Net spend I think they may have out spent us or there wont be much in it. Money is definitely a factor though and think you make some good pants.

It's sad that for a number of years now we expect to get a raw deal in transfers. Incoming or outgoing. Sure we've managed a few good deals, but I still think Bain undersells our players a lot.

Any ideas of a fee?

Glad ICT went donw eh?

October 3rd - First Old Firm at Ibrox. First Old Firm at Parkhead is Jan 2nd.

I think the run up to the final day shoot out showed we are generally a bit smarter when it comes to shooting out mouths off. We had at least one thread about it on here. About Samaras, Caldwell etc gobbing off while our players get on with the job in hand. The comments about winning "x" amount of league titles in a row could well come back to haunt him. However, it is still nice to hear our players coming out with a positive comment once in a while.

Norris will be back to give us the answer to that one, it's where he gets his football knowledge! :box:

Who can blame him.

Beat me to what? :fish: -
Ha ha. Our scouts would probably pick some better transfer targets if they played FM rather than whatever it is they currently do. No idea what he's been upto since. Might be like Andy Dorman and be a one season wonder(or half season in Dorman's case) :fish: but he did look good in the English top flight for a poor team.

USA - Italy tonight. Is Beasley playing? Probably wont see it though.

Sorry for bumping this thread Craig.

Aye, true. Up to the reader if they believe the "source". And can you get a better source than some faceless guy on a message board i've never met claiming to have spoken said player? I think I just couldn't be bothered with explaining such a tenuous source, even if I didn't really expect any grief on here.

Thought Bouazza looked a cracking player when with Watford in the Prem. Is he still with them?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2009/06/secrets_of_the_fixture_compute.html#097608 I found it quite interesting and assume it's roughly the same for the Scottish leagues. Some interesting comments (christ there's enough of them).

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8100858.stm Why couldn't the SPL have made a similar statement?
