Well done Ian for stepping into the breach. Beers chilling in the fridge, looking forward to this. Been stuck in work at the last two (though I work in a gym and could at least watch them). No game against them is meaningless, though we are in the enviable position of having won the league so even if we should lose we still maintain bragging rights. :spl:

Ticket prices in Germany are far better than here, but they have a far, far superior t.v. deal etc and we need to make money somewhere if we want to compete.

I agree with your sentiment re: Murray, but you are missing the point. You said if he was in touch with the fans he would never honour Murray in such a way. But it is mostly just the internet fans who are anti-Murray. Over half the support are probably pro-Murray, hence this does not show Ellis is out of touch with the fans, just the internet fans.

No, but if you think about what you said and what FH said you will realise that you were "wrong". Knowing what the fans want is not the same as knowing what the internet fans want. PS. I'll believe Sky with their quotes from Ellis before wabash.

This was immediately apparent to myself too. Whilst it is a less important point than the fact that supporters (not just VB) managed to affect the behaviour of said reporter, or at least to get an apology printed, valid constructive criticism was offered of which MF did not seem to happy to accept. Much as he would rightly challenge any poorly thought-out action or inaction of the RST etc he should accept that VBs might not be infallible and constructive criticism is acceptable.

May have grown up a Celtic fan. Didn't seem to upset celebrating a late Rangers goal against Celtic earlier this year (McCulloch's or Edu's, I forget which). I half heard him speaking on sky sports whilst at work today and he seemed to speak reasonably well about extending his contract though I have only read the tag line in the OP and don't know how it compares to that.

Were Davis, Weir, Boyd and Webster not named as the nominees for PPOTY (a ridiculous concept seeing as they already know who's won it. It's not like they now have another vote on the top 4). As for the rest, as far as I know, they have not been made public yet.
