Kamara's not been in Scotland long enough to know much of what Novo said is a reaction to McGeady's lack of class and grace a couple of years ago. He was here this season though when many of their team and management were running their mouths about how we play, so knows that again it is a reaction by Novo to their running their mouths. A mite hypocritical to hit out at Novo for that then!

Having a 6th team who contributed no points but meant the total got divided by 6 would really hurt us. As does the fact that, as rbr says, the smaller teams really contribute no points.

Currently on 86; winning our remaining 2 games would give us our best total for 5 years. 86 is also about the total needed to win the title over the last 4 years and shows the current team are certainly no worse than the Champions of the past few years. So the press can ram that one! :box:

And on the occasions we or they amass a reasonable points contribution to the national co-efficient, it gets divided by about 5 making it virtually worthless.

Our situation dictates we must be there, embarrassment or not. Unfortunatley this fanciful idea of years of wilderness while we devise a master plan for the future will not somehow through some unexplained magical path lead us to great glory, but may in fact see the club go to the wall. I've said it a million times over the years but the "PLG style" vision for Rangers is akin to the masterplan of the underpants gnomes from South Park: With Rangers it would be; phase 1 - become shit (even domestically), phase 2 - ???, phase 3 world domination (on the football scene).

Was this to make up for a lack of European income? Probably ended up costing them money. How many went to the AC Milan friendly we had the other year?

I'm fairly certain Barca must be guaranteed an automatic Champions League spot, but is it still mathmatically possible that Bayern wouldn't? What of Inter too? Are the other 3 (outwith Lyon) guaranteed an automatic spot from their league position or do they still have some work to do? I know currently they are all in qualifying positions, I just don't know if it's possible for teams further down to catch them.

I've not read the link, but from Jim's one line synopsis it looks like Mjallby is looking out for his own self-interest rather than championing Lennon.

I didn't really have an opinion on who I want to win tonight, but seeing this I'm rooting for the Germans.
