Statement from FARE http://www.farenet.org/default.asp?intPageID=7&intArticleID=2476 This is all getting a bit hard to follow! Who the hell is who in that organisation?

IIRC, BH was suggesting any deal was unlikely the other week so if he's not inferring progress that must be good news. More so when he seems to have two different sources from both sides of the deal for corroboration. Keep the salt handy though!

You have to admit it is a wee bit funny mate. Perhaps taking the joke a bit far though I suppose. Take it as a compliment.
-
I share most of the sentiments but you must remember that 5 years ago we did clean up our act. TBB and FTP disappeared almost overnight. To that end, one must ask whey they reappeared? The answer is clear - because the same rules are not applied to others so until they are then while we should remove contentious stuff that alone will not result in the eradication of sectarianism in football.

Big Breaking new about Rangers about to come on BBC Scotland sportsound
Frankie replied to Bears's topic in Rangers Chat
Super Rangers is obviously the issue but I'm not sure how UEFA can act on this (under the current directive) given it's not been proscribed previously. -

Apparently these were the songs sung that night: 0:00 - Derry's Walls 0:00 - A moments' silence for Japan - impeccably observed by everyone 0:00 - Derry's Walls 0:00 - Rule Britannia 0:10 - Derry's Walls 0:55 - We Love You Rangers 2:30 - Super Rangers 3:15 - Glasgow Rangers Champions 5:35 - We Love You Rangers 10:50 - Build My Gallows 21:35 - Super Rangers 32:35 - Derry's Walls 41:15 - Super Rangers 45:29 - We Are The People 46:15 - Derry's Walls 48:00 - Super Rangers 51:15 - Derry's Walls 53:25 - Derry's Walls 57:15 - Rule Britannia 61:45 - Derry's Walls It was after this point when Lafferty was stretchered off and the team lost momentum. The PSV fans, who were great, were loudest and this was highlighted by the commentators in the 75th minute as the away fans could be heard singing Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life. As the so-called Subway Loyal made their exit and the stadium began to empty, there was no more singing which could be heard on the television. Surely, it would be easier to hear the alleged sectarian songs in an emptier stadium, or are the nutters the ones who leave early too? Finally: 81:50 - We Love You Rangers Thanks to Foxtrot from FF -
Some better comments from Dougal there. Essentially all of these people should just refuse to comment though then inconsistencies wouldn't happen.

It was Alistair Clark QC -
Seems decent enough value for me at £422 including free RangersTV. I'll 99% be renewing but will wait a couple of weeks just to see if we hear anything new on how competitive we'll be next term.

He's not an official representative so why is he been given the platform to discuss matters that have nothing to do with him? I'd see the point if it were Celtic players being disciplined but this was a Rangers issue and nothing to do with Celtic nor any of their high profile fans.
-
More work-rate is obviously welcome but we have to improve the quality of our set-plays. In the 2nd half in particular last night we must have had a combined 10-15 corners and free kicks in the final third of the pitch. Yet, only once did one of our players win a header as every other delivery was dreadful.
-
Absolutely. Regan is incompetent and everything at the SFA has been a farce since he arrived.
-
They were lucky but who can blame for the SFA for taking some revenge by using the rules to their advantage this time? Moreover, Regan had prejudiced these cases beforehand with his comments so I'm sure Rangers made that clear as well to our benefit.
-
It was rhetorical of course but it is a question any serious commentator should be asking of them...
-
I think that is the funniest thing I've ever seen. Brilliant!
-
Why do BBC Scotland insist on giving this chancer a platform? He's supposedly not speaking for Lennon or Celtic so who cares what his 'tiny-brained' opinion is?

Webchat: Discuss the Rangers takeover with Tom English
Frankie replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Not seen that but he does have decent information IMO - although I'm not sure where he gets it from. He's an odd character who I can't figure out at all. -
Can't remember mate. They definitely took advantage of the wording though which goes against their 'moral' principles.
-
Of course morally he didn't but as far as the SFA rules are, he did serve it unfortunately. No problems with sporting integrity there for Lawwell et al.
-
He did serve it according to the rules - it was just served concurrently due to to McBride's input. Another breach in the next two years will see him receive an automatic 6 match ban though IIRC.

It was quite disappointing that such comments weren't moderated out of the debate so the real questions could be answered. There were a few good put-downs though.
