Of course; which is why your rather glib initial response was overly negative and unnecessary IMO.
-
Edu was being realistic as well. We can qualify and while that isn't a certainty it is definitely a possibility depending on the draw.
-
I'm glad our players are being positive even if you are not....
-
Same here cal... However, if there are two crucial positives for this season it is the fact we have the same squad as last season and less pressure than before as well. Those could help the standard of our performance and with low expectations in Europe, we may surprise ourselves.
-
Good point - I assumed he'd be travelling. I guess McCulloch is our back up centre-half as it stands.
-
Solid squad there - interesting that Gow seems to be back in the fold and with no move linked, perhaps he may actually figure this season?
-
An absolute joke mate - this was in yesterday's Edinburgh Evening News/Scotsman - supposedly a quality newspaper.
-
Shame!

Agreed 26th... If we can't get into Division 3 with a reserve team then loan deals and/or a feeder club should be the next option.
-
The reserve league is always having games moved and cancelled. Not playing in it means we can play different (and often better) opposition via organised friendlies and tournaments. Not sure how well this will work but obviously there is a problem somewhere resulting in this.

Spot on Cal... Their behaviour was appallingly childish but, looking back, the bandwagon to criticise them equally crass.
-
All sounds reasonable enough to me... Wilson, Ness and Campbell are the pick of the bunch for me.
-
:D Charlie Adam would like that....
-
He'll get a 2 game ban minimum as per the Ricksen/Young incident several years back....
-
Christ that strip is horrible!
-
Well, I hope he uses this defence in a few weeks and because he doesn't admit his guilt his punishment should be worse. Nice to see Celtic FC - those bastions of sporting integrity - not disciplining the player for this obvious assault either. Doesn't surprise me when I look back on the actions of Neil Lennon in the recent past. He was rewarded with a new contract and the club captaincy.
-
He's available on a free but far too injury prone nowadays...
-
Calm down not that Danny Mills... We had a young striker from Crawley Town on trial last week and was wondering if anyone had anything about how successful it had been. I know he flew back South on Friday then appeared as a sub against Chelsea Reserves for Crawley but don't know if he's coming back for another trial. Kane Hemmings seems to have made a decent impression having come from non-league English football so it is interesting that we seem to be actively scouting these teams.

The only player I'd now consider selling would be Allan McGregor. If he's not going to be No1 next season, he's a luxury we can't afford.

Put the feeds on ignore if you don't want to read them. The feeds provide an instant method of creating Rangers related threads automatically when users aren't around to do it. For example, Ian posts many of these threads but is back away to work for 4 weeks on Wednesday. As such, many of these threads wouldn't be posted otherwise so the chance of discussion missed. The feeds also mean people don't need to visit other sites if they're pressed for time. All relevant, official Rangers news is on Gersnet as quickly as it is on the RFC/BBC site so people can visit here for a few mins, find out the latest news and gauge our varying opinions as well.
-
Not sure what you mean, Jon? The RSS feed articles will all be posted directly into the new sub-forum and, if any individual story is deemed important enough to be moved into here (e.g. Ferguson transfer, TV deal etc), it will be moved as soon as a moderator/admin gets a chance. Of course, if that doesn't happen too quickly, everyone is welcome to post in the sub-forum and/or create a duplicate thread in here.
-
There has been a lot of irrelevant stuff posted so we've created a sub-forum for the news feeds where upon these stories will all be posted there. Anything interesting, we'll move into here.
-
Doesn't sound good at all.
-
Yes, I think it could. While some people would be too aggressive on some places, I reckon such an exercise would be worthwhile depending on the format.
-
At least he's not trying to sell us something this time... Good news about Edu - was getting worried his injury may have been worse than first expected.
