    Dado

I've been quite critcal of big Dado this year due to his lack of goals, but I would stil love him to stay, but would like hi to get invlved i the coaching side of things. I think he would make a fantastic and very influential coach, maybe start him of with the younger kis. Similar to ALbertx in tat as a foriegner, he's come here and really got a feeling for what playig for Raners is al about. If we continue to bting in young, foriegn kids like this Danish boy, Stanger et al, who beter to give them a grounding and prepare them for playing for Rangers than him!
  2. MAloney gone for a million.
  3. Oh I'll be listening to your tips in the future!!!
  4. Not very well I don't think. He's been trying to get away virtually since he got there if I remember rightly.
  5. Stop dissing students. I've just become one!
  6. After helicopter Sunday, I think we owe the guy a few bob!
  7. Um, exactly how many games does Hartley think he'l start for them?????
  8. Beeb site has changed it's tune. When I looked earlier 1404, we were getting him, now it says for 1404 that it's timmys deal. Pile of pish!!!
  9. According to the BBC we're bout ti sign him for £1mill.
  10. From the BBC Website Mascherano free to join Liverpool Mascherano has played for West Ham and Corinthians since July West Ham midfielder Javier Mascherano has been given special dispensation by Fifa to join Liverpool from West Ham. Under Fifa's rules, a footballer cannot play competitively for more than two different clubs between 1 July and 30 June the following year. Mascherano, 22, has already represented Corinthians and West Ham in that time. But Fifa said: "The Fifa single judge ruled that Javier Mascherano is eligible to play in official matches with Liverpool with immediate effect." Interview: Fifa spokesman Andreas Herren In the statement Fifa explained its ruling was determined partly because the South American and European seasons overlap. A Liverpool spokesman confirmed: "Fifa has confirmed the player is entitled to play for Liverpool. "However, the move from West Ham still needs to be ratified by the Premier League - and we await their decision." Mascherano arrived at Upton Park with international team-mate Carlos Tevez on 31 August. But he has played only six minutes since the defeat at Tottenham on 22 October and had been desperate to leave the club.
  11. I reckon now they have lost Thompson and have sfa chance of getting Brown they'll pull out the stops for Hartley.

    1 day to go

I'm hoping it will be nice and exciting tonight, lot so f last minute moves, with fernando Torres, Cesc Fabregas and Vincent Kompany turning up in Govan!!!
  13. That's they guys.
  14. Brown and Riordan were in squads as was Burke. Riordon has been scoring sonce getting into the Celtic team. Is McNaughton a better player than Smith? Graham Alexander better than Whittiker? Hughes better than Scott Brown? Thompson better than Maloney? Thompson has scored 5 this season, McFadden 2 and Miller 3 or 4. Nish has scored 8, Naismith 9, Darren MAckie 8, Dargo 7. this squad is a joke. 4 Keepers for a get-together??? 13 defenders and 4 strikers? An absolute farce.
  15. I'll miss him. Actually, no, I won't!
  16. I think with the signing of Thompson, then to splash out over a million on Hartley would be too much. Think he could do a good job for us, but we should focus our efforts on brown and a striker.
  17. He had a bit of a dip in form after his trip to Arsenal but has been playing really well most of the season. What about Maloney? Scotlands player and young player of the year last season? Riordan, consistently scored goals over the last 3 seasons? Scott Brown, a dynamic attacking midfielder, in the mould of, erm, well, no-one in the 30 man squad Mcleish picked. The fact that this is for a get-together rather than a qualifier makes this selection all the worse. He has to get these guys involved. Most of these players have been enhancing a reputation over the last 2-3 seasons so they aren't one-season-wonders! A distinct lack of foesight and vision from our new glorious leader!
  18. Great signing, young, Scottish and a Timmy target. Don't get much better! Hopefully now we have Colin, Justin won't be far behind even if it does take till the summer. I have to say Brown was the one I was after but if we can get McCulloch and Gow to complement Walter's other signings then I'll be a happy Bear. Would still dearly love a right back and a striker though. Isn't it nice for us to go out, spend a bit of cash on a player that we actually know!!!
  19. I'm not talking about dumping the guys in the team but kids should be in and around the squad. The likes of Thompson (steven) aren't the sort that will take the squad forward for 2010 world cup are they? Will Murty, Alexander, Hughes be there for that qualifying section or wil it be Steven Smith, Maloney, Riordon, Naismith. Christ look at naismith's performance last night - is that not a man on form?
  20. I criticised Walter for that as well. It is time to jettison the dead wood and get the kids in the squad.
  21. For Gods sake he's pish!!!
  22. "Look how young they look. I hope the physio has some Calpol in his bag." Mark Lawrenson on Radio Five Live before Arsenal's kids thrashed Liverpool 6-3 in the Carling Cup. What a brilliant quote!!!
  23. 3 in his last 6 games. Not bad since he has just really started and must be only getting there in terms of match sharpness. Thompson has a total of 7 but 2 of them are in friendlies. And he hasn't scored since Boxing Day. Chppra has 21, maybe we could pretend he's scottish.
  24. Steven Thompson - right wing Richard Hughes - left back Neil Alexander - centre forward Scotland - not getting anywhere near Austria/Switzerland
  25. The big ginger tosser has not got a fucking clue. My blood pressure had dropped nicely since he left but now it's back up through the roof. That man will be the death of me.
