Delighted to see Walter back. And hopefully Ally will watch and learn and take over the reins in a couple of years when we are sitting pretty at the top of the SPL again.
-
I liked Davie Weir, but he really is too old and too slow. Also don't think he's strong enough to compensate for the diddies we have just now.
-
That was a ridiculous game. I just can't get my head round Liverpool, I thought that this season they would be up there challenging for everything!

Real No Longer Wish To Renew Beckham Contract

Apparently he's 2-1 to give up football and become an actor!!! -
I honestly think that Jim Jefferies would be a good shout. Burns is a bit of a diddy as far as I'm concerned.
-
Cracking goal. And for a playwer who is off form, he's top scorer in La Liga and is having his best scoring season since signing for Barce. He's basically said that himself, Zambrotta, Marquez etc are all knackered after the World Cup and are basically doing what needs to be done to win games without over-exerting themselves.

What a shame, I'll miss him!! I give him another six months and he'll be mired in the murky world of the Russian mafia, sex trafficking and possibly working as/being chased by a hitman.
-
They'll wait till the end of the season and get him for 40. Just see if I'm wrong!!
-
Not a chance he'll come to Scotland. I reckon he'll be at Valencia when they sell david Villa to Chelski.
-
Not really worth it imo. Be as well giving one of our own kids a game.

Clement Brands Rangers "Stepping Stone To Bigger Things"
juffery replied to Beattie's topic in Rangers Chat
I'm sure someone did the other week But, no-one can really be surprised, he's a young guy, highly rated who isn't going to want to spend his career in the SPL! -
Hmm, I really don't think Thompson is a £3mill player. Brown on the other hand most definately is.
-
If Man u are in the mood, then ra Sellick could get seriously humped! But I have a horrible feeling this may be a draw and give something else to batter on about.
-
O'Connor was my preferred choice over Boyd at the time and I would still like to see him come to us. Quicjer then Boyd and can hold the bal up better, I think the 2 of them wold be a very decent partnership.
-
Christ I didn't mean every single international manager! But there have been a hell of a lot of high profile appointments when the managers in question hadn't proved themselves at club level.
-
As far as I knowhe can. Might be worth a punt in the middle.
-
See where you're coming from Jon especially as Bardsley is a loan signing but we need at least one defender defending!
-
They would probably fall down the stairs!
-
The way international management is going, a decent playing career seems more important than a strong managerial background. Donadoni, Van Basten, even Hoddle and Keegan, Voeller, Klinsmann.
-
Definately. Wish I could have sen him play. What would he have been worth in todays market?
-
C'mon Jonc make them work for it!!
-
Have been totally out of the football loop for about three weeks now. What's the script with Bardsley, is PLG still in the huff with him? By christ we could do with someone with some bollocks at the back.
-
It's mental. Charlton have the same manager for what, 14 years, then the next guy gets 12 games. Bloody ridiculous!
-
What a tosser. The least he would have got is a few days in the sun!!!
