By and large I couldn't give a stuff what they do when they leave. If they feel a Ranger after they leave then good for them but I think the reality is they're only a Ranger when they actually play for the club ... the rest is just ingratiating guff they're all coached to say, something that gets them media money. I certainly don't get attached to them ... well maybe there are some special exceptions, a few players who made exceptional contributions. For me it's about the team and the club, that's all.

I can't get overly excited about Morelos' future. If he leave it will be like every other 'favourite' before him - the next day we will have forgotten his name and moved on to the next hero. Very, very few survive their departure long enough to be genuinely missed.

Tbf I think Buster is simply saying the tweet is a distraction and is unimportant whatever way you choose to see it. What counts is what he does on the park and we've all seen that can be hugely inconsistent.

Eric Caldow was 5' 8" That's all the proof anyone needs that lack of height doesn't restrict a fullback. Ridvan Yilmaz is 5' 9"

I've never known an established Rangers striker who left as big a hole as expected when he left. There's always someone else. That said, I'd like to keep "good Morelos" and get rid of "bad Morelos" but I guess they come as a package.

He's clearly not lazy but for some reason he is prone to dropping out of games for lengthy periods, which I find hard to understand. Last night was a classic - he was brilliant in the first half but largely anonymous after half time.

It's easy to be smart after the event and there's no new silverware in the trophy room yet but surely all the doubt and considerable negativity that was expressed about Beale's appointment has been allayed.

I counted 3 times Hearts crossed from their right to a wide player lying deep at the far side of the box, who received the ball completely unchallenged, with Tavernier standing more than 10 yards away beside Goldson, facing the other way. His inability to adopt the required defensive position could/should have cost us 2 goals. That said, he did better in general tonight.

Actually at half time I was in no doubt Tillman was head and shoulders the best player on the park but they obviously took his batteries out at the interval. He's a superb footballer but he has to start playing for at least 60-70 minutes.

Holy smoke, we actually played two halves for a change. 3 goals, 3 points, clean sheet, life is good. That's the best I've seen from Glen Kamara in a very long time - clear MOTM performance and about time too. It might have been Tillman if he'd turned up for the second half. It might have been Morelos if he didn't get caught offside so often when it's easier not to. It might have been Barisic or Kent but not quite.

If the two players currently masquerading as fullbacks are the best we have and they're considered to be "on form" then we're in worse shape than I thought we were.

I could never understand why Yilmaz didn't immediately take the LB slot. Maybe it was a settling in thing but nothing usually speeds up settling in than knowing you are first choice.

Whether it's accurate or not I don't know but I've just read elsewhere that the Raskin deal was ...... "Final transfer agreement at £1.32M + £441K in bonuses + 20% on the profit from the next resale." How do you calculate the profit from any resale? The more I think about this the less obvious it is. These are complex arrangements.

That's all well and good, everyone's entitled to an opinion. All I was doing was stating the facts. It was a penalty because a penalty was awarded. It was a red card because a red card was awarded. Jack's tackle was only a yellow card because only a yellow card was given. Willie Collum doesn't make mistakes about issues like these 😉 We shouldn't take the yahoo bait and get involved in a debate about issues that are incontestable. 😂

Our penalty was a penalty, their red card was a red card, Ryan Jack tackle was never a red card. End of story. What else is there to know?
