So, Rangers is already 95% fan owned. Makes you wonder what all the fuss is about with Club1872, which does rather have the smell of "wrong kind of Rangers fan" about it. Given the shareholding Rangers fans on the board have invested THEIR OWN money, it's the sort of commitment that doesn't exactly stand out as needing a lot of safeguarding against. As the dinosaurs came to appreciate, you should never be 100% confident about the future but it looks to me like we're in a better position than any time during the last 20 years, maybe more. For all the different opinions about why Morelos is now playing in his current role, I see a player who looks increasingly low in confidence. Whatever the reasons behind this change, I suspect he isn't going to be able to contain his frustration much longer. I hope I'm wrong because he's been such an important part of our revival.

That's the thing about abuse. It's not nice. It's not intended to be and those who abuse others are to be condemned for it. That said, from the perspective of the abused, it's really not necessary to descend into hysteria. What happened to resilience in the face of adversity and "water off a duck's back"? I'm not entirely sure oversensitivity is any better than insensitivity. As an adult, you shouldn't abuse other people and neither should you be so precious that you can't ignore it and walk away.

I think not. What the club should be doing is making sure every Rangers fan on the planet understands how bitter, biased and corrupt the media is in Scotland. No one else has any interest in listening to our side of the situation but there should be no Rangers fans still thinking the BBC, DR, etc are anything but anti-Rangers bastards .... and sadly there are, plenty of them.

When I started this topic I fully acknowledged the different role Alfredo is being asked to play. The question wasn't whether or not his current role is different from last season ... or whether he was performing well or otherwise. The question I posed was why has his role changed, not whether it had changed or if it had been a successful decision. Thankfully, one or two have actually tried to answer that question rather than just describe outcomes.
