  1. Just to add (again), the drumming in the UB section is bloody awful. They can barely keep time and even if they could, it would still be awful. Unless we're going full flute band, get the drums to f**k and leave that crap to the South Americans (who are quite good at it).
  2. I know. They have a new team and a new manager and so do we. They won 3-1 away to Vitesse Arnhem today. If you think they're underdogs, I doubt you've seen us play this season.
  3. I don't think matches in the 70s have any bearing on what will happen now. I watched PSV hammer Sturm Graz and they're a good team - quick and clinical. I've watched our competitive matches this season and we're not good - we're slow and don't cause teams enough problems. We are definitely underdogs against PSV.
  4. Aye, Beale has a lot to sort out. If we're any more than 3 points behind after we play that lot then the season will be looking like another nightmare. I don't think any Bears are expecting us to qualify for the CL.
  5. Lammers might come good but early signs aren't great. Same goes for Sima and Dowell. As I said the other night, I'm seeing things I like about Dessers - he gets into good areas and if things start clicking with him and those around him, I reckon he'll score a decent amount of goals.
  6. We're too slow and lack intensity, which makes us easy to handle for mediocre opposition. I hate him but Postecoglu figured out how to deal with Scottish sides by going at them, fast and relentless.
  7. Dowell - he puts in a decent cross but other than that, what does he do?
  8. It's a bit worrying how often Butland is one of our better players, particularly when we really haven't played a good side yet.
  9. What have you been smoking? 🤣
  10. There are various matches around the world where away fans are banned (Ajax v Feyenoord and River Plate v Boca Juniors are well known examples). I'm content with yahoos never setting foot in Ibrox again. They are scum and should be dealt with accordingly.
  11. We shouldn't be doing business with any organisation that has behaved the way they have towards multiple victims of child sexual assault, other than that which we have a legal obligation to.
  12. No, the SPFL board.
  13. I keep seeing/hearing Rangers fans say we cut the allocation because it gave that lot an advantage. That's absolute nonsense! We cut their allocation in order to provide more season tickets to loyal Rangers supporters. Stop helping them peddle their crap.
  14. Is Lawrence injured again?
  15. Hearts cut our allocation when we were in the second division, well before we cut the scum allocationat Ibrox. My memory isn't great but I'm sure Hibs cut our allocation a few years ago too.
  16. Yes, particularly with the likes of Killie, St Mirren, Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs all cutting our allocation recently.
  17. I thought the article was clear about the situation... Paedo FC have turned down their 800 allocation for Ibrox (because they want the full Broomloan). Rangers have asked the SPFL board to ensure we get tickets for the Piggery.
  18. I think a lot of Bears have got a bit too excited, too early, with Lowry. There's talent there but he's nowhere near ready to be a regular starter with us, as things stand.
  19. Celtc have been pretty clear about it in their statement: it's either full Broomloan or nothing.
  20. I suspect them turning down the smaller allocation is a prelude to them trying to get a bigger one. Two rules we should abide by: 1. Never trust a yahoo. 2. Give them nothing.
  21. John Mason is worse than a rat.
  22. I'd imagine so. Here in the UK, rougher elements of society struggle to afford to regularly attend top flight football, so find other ways to pass the time. Over there, it's basically like a gang/identity thing, often with lashings of ultra-nationalism included. A mix between old school Italian ultras (displays, uniforms, generic singing) and 1980s English hooliganism (causing trouble everywhere they go). It can be very intimidating!
  23. PSV are fairly tame compared to the likes of Feyenoord and Ajax. The Balkan groups tend to take things to extremes (I'll never forget the amount of riot police at the Partizan v Proleter match I attended...and that was with no away fans present!).
  24. The first leg was in Athens last week but got cancelled when the AEK fan was killed, hence the game in Athens now being played this weekend.
  25. I'm a wee bit surprised Dinamo Zagreb haven't been kicked out of Europe after their fans travelled to Athens and killed an AEK fan last week (they did this despite a ban on away fans).
