  1. A couple of people I've spoken to said taking the knee should continue until racial discrimination has ended. In that case, it's here forever.
  2. With something so regimented, it's difficult to tell. Do you think John Terry genuinely feels strongly about it? Just the intention? The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
  3. Jackson didn't say anything that hasn't already been said. Newspapers are generally hanging on the coattails of breaking news these days and this is no different.
  4. If we need Jackson or the DR to make an informed opinion about anything, never mind Rangers, I'd think a lemmings-like approach might be required.
  5. Although I agree, to an extent - what would you advise as an alternative course of action for football spectators who disapprove of the continuing gesture? Write to the FA? Write to Millwall FC?
  6. During these odd times, Rangers are playing well and giving many of us a real reason to smile. During these odd times, the situation at our rivals is giving many of us a real reason to smile. It's far too early to get carried away but things are finally starting to resemble the true pecking order. Our manager and players need to keep at it. WATP
  7. He who laughs last...and all that.
  8. Very good performance today. The amazing thing is, I think several players aren't really in form (Morelos, Aribo and Kent).
  9. Did Gardyne take the knee before the match? If he did, then made a racist comment, surely that suggests it's a pointless exercise.
  10. He's good going forward but his positional sense worries me a bit.
  11. Walker said something about inappropriate language - might've been something untoward said amongst the crowd, I think.
  12. What were Goldson and SG bothered about at the end of the half? Good to be ahead, albeit a rather uninspiring performance, so far. Kent and Aribo aren't doing enough. Not one Scotsman in our outfield 10 today.
  13. In depth, well articulated, insightful co-commentary, obviously.
  14. Another must-win game. With the correct attitude, we should have enough to get the three points.
  15. Grief culture is complete. Minutes silences should only occur when the deceased played for or managed one of the clubs playing. I saw someone on social media saying that Diego "went too soon". That really sums up the hollow shite spouted nowadays. The guy was a terrific footballer but also abused substances most of his adult life.
  16. I'd be very worried if Tav, Barisic or Roofe went in January.
  17. The word platitude sums it up. I see our players are wearing rainbow laces tomorrow. Another of society's ills fixed by footballers making a forced symbolic gesture.
  18. Because of the league we're in, it's inevitable players will want to move to more lucrative destinations. The good thing is we have some players who are playing well enough to bring in significant transfer fees (Kamara, Morelos, Barisic and Aribo immediately spring to mind). Given the last set of accounts, we're going to need to sell some of them, if not in January then in the Summer. I want players to do well at Rangers and to enjoy their time here, hopefully winning some silverware but I don't expect many to wish to settle here or to view it as good as it gets - Scottish football is a joke, thanks to the SFA/SPFL. Once we win our league back we can maybe focus on the future more than we've been able to recently. Kamara is a very clever player but he isn't irreplaceable.
  19. Count me in. I can't think of anything better than having mates round for the derby and letting them watch me drink several glasses of Royal Salute.
  20. I see the Millwall fans aren't popular after the booing today. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55111474 Former Coventry and Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin, who had a loan spell at Millwall in 2002, added: "They don't agree with taking the knee, which means they are racist. They don't agree with Black Lives Matter; that says they are racist to me.".
