I don't think any of our players had a great game last night. Kamara was as poor as I've seen him, Docherty ran around loads but like Hastie, looked a bit too eager to impress. There were long segments of the first half where we were just passing the ball around aimlessly. Beating part-time sides 6-0 is run of the mill stuff.

Half arsed performance tonight but more than sufficient.

Neither Candeias or Kent are good enough in my opinion. One tries hard but fails at basics and the other only turns up against Celtc.

I can't recall the figures we made from last season's EL group stages but I'm sure it wasn't far off £10m. That's a Hell of a lot of money for a club, in our league, that has been through what we've been through. Stepping stones and all that. Although, I agree the league is the priority just now (and always should be). If a club like Wolves or Espanyol knock us out this year it wouldn't bode well for some of the teams we'd face in CL qualifying. Especially if we're a few million quid short of where we could've been.

We all have our own expectation levels. Looking at some of the teams we could play, I'd say it's a tad unrealistic to expect us to qualify. But that depends on the draw. The likes of Wolves and Feyenoord are a big step up from Ufa and Maribor.

Just my opinion, coop. I don't expect many to agree and I reckon all five of them will be sticking around.

I think we should try our hardest to qualify. It helps the coefficient, the financial positives are obvious and it's good to put ourselves up against better quality sides. Having said that, I think it's unlikely that we will, unless we are lucky in the draw.

I'd try to offload Alnwick, Halliday, Jack, Candeias and Murphy.

They sold their best player to Real Madrid. And will have loads of money to spend, as a result.

I take it our away tie in Luxembourg will be moved to the Tuesday or Wednesday (if Progres finish off Cork on Thursday)?

I think we could overcome Sparta Prague, Steaua Bucharest and Partizan Belgrade. Maybe Espanyol and Standard Liege. The likes of Feyenoord and Eintracht Frankfurt would beat us quite easily, unfortunately (I don't like either of those clubs).

Perhaps a candlelit vigil is in order?

Katic is also a real threat in the box. I know Goldson has scored twice already but Katic is the defender I wouldn't want to see in my box if I was an opposition player. Is Mayo a CB or a full-back?
