I agree with that. It's a sensitive subject. One of Liverpool's fan groups recently visited the Piggery to check out the safe standing there. Read into that what you will but I think a lot of fans are sick of the sterile atmosphere at British football and want to see safe standing become more widespread. I'm in that bracket myself.

Were you not proud of Ibrox Stadium when the Enclosures were terraced or Ibrox Park prior to the 1980s? Most of the fantastic stadiums in Germany have safe standing areas.

I just saw Ferguson's statement about Ray Wilkins passing away (on SSN). He stated that Wilkins played for some of the biggest clubs in the world and mentioned PSG and Chelsea ...but not Rangers. I didn't want to put this in the Wilkins' thread because it's a moan about Ferguson (and that thread should be all about Ray Wilkins). How can a supposed Rangers fan, from Govan, miss Rangers off the list of clubs Wilkins played for? Alex Ferguson has just given me another reason to dislike him.
