I don't think we're getting anywhere here. You guys are obviously hugely concerned about this and that's understandable. I think the atmosphere at Ibrox and most British stadiums is sterile and needs a bit of livening up.

I don't need to evolve, fs. I have never taken pyro to a football match or assaulted anyone. I have been assaulted by opposition fans but I that won't make me stop going to support my team.

I realise we live in a H&S oriented society nowadays but signs suggest football fans are getting sick and tired of paying a lot of money and being treated like sh*t and this sort of thing (pyro, violence etc) is becoming more popular. A compromise will have to be met to some extent otherwise we'll just have reasonably well-off, well-behaved and quiet stadiums with virtually no atmosphere (like Arsenal).

Anyone expecting Niko to fly around the pitch is in for some serious disappointment.

The girl who threw the flare at Falkirk got a banning order and was charged by the Police. Kids tend to be a bit more up for some dangerous antics - that's life. Football used to be a lot more dangerous 30 years ago.

The kids who do it have been punished for it. Unfortunately, the world is full of criminality and sometimes we're confronted by it. It won't stop because of a thread on an online forum.

We could do with some wide players. Depending on how Pena gets on, we might be okay in midfield.

That's a fair point. It's just some lads having a laugh though. We can't spend our whole lives terrified of the worst possible consequences of being in crowded areas. I'm British. I got hospitalised after a match by opposition fans but I still go to the football.

A smoke bomb isn't an explosive device. I'm not really pro or anti taking them - I have no intention of ever taking one and have never done so. It's our over-sensitivity that worries me. No wonder Hibs, vermin and Motherwell fans goad us so easily. 40 years ago we'd have tanned them.

I've been near smoke bombs a few times and never seen any disabled fans taken away. The have hundreds of flares at matches in the Balkans and do okaay.
