Yep, it's as simple as that. Time we played hardbal l- his stock will never be higher than now, and there are sure to be other offers. I know we need the money but agents should not be allowed to think that we'll rollover at the first offer over what we paid.

Have i missed something is has Boyd definitely gone. If so where did he go? I thought i read yesterday that Brummy didn't want him so i took it he was still on the market.

I still think there is a chance he will sign a new contract. Maybe I'll be proved wrong, but I reckon it will be a strategically planned 'rabbit out of the hat' to grab a few good news headlines.

I see what your saying mate, but won't that just piss of the fans a bit,especially the Boyd haters?. For me I hope you're correct.

 

I would argue that the Boyd haters are a minority. Most at least appreciate is domestic prowess, even if it is only limited against Celtic.

Agreed. However he is pissing me off a bit with all his waiting and I'm a Boyd fan, he is either staying or he can GTF, he wanted a wage increase up to the same level as Miller and I believe he was offered this!!!

There's absolutely no chance of Boyd staying. The 'i'm leaving for a new challenge' would never have been made public if there was. He will get offers from all over, regardless of whether Birmingham are still keen or not

I agree, I thought he had made it clear enough he wasn't staying and was looking elsewhere

 

He should take as long as he wants to get the right deal for himself and his family IMO......
