Transfer Deadline Day: Michael O'Halloran signs until 2020

Recommended Posts

Warburtons pre-match interview (I understand these arent always a good indicator) he said they are still working hard on getting MOH and he would be hopeful of the signing or at least some new within the coming days.

Did he actually say they were working on getting O'Halloran because he doesn't normally mention specific players?

As T4C says, we released McGregor, which is a far cry from "letting him go to Hibs".

He didn't fit in with Warburton's philosophy. Did I agree with it at the time ? Nope, as I thought McGregor was our best defensive performer last season... but his style of play (not the best footballer....) didn't suit what MW wanted so best to let him go if he doesn't fit what you want.

He was our best player Craig by a mile at least McGregor could defend at right back and what I've witnessed tav can't....

Corry Evans being linked now

Various reports this morning are linking Blackburn Rovers Northern Ireland international with a move to Ibrox.

The midfielder has been at Ewood Park since 2013, having previously played for Hull City.

Evans, was a standout youth player at Man Utd.

I still would rather Tav than McGregor at RB..... However, McGregor or Wilson and I would probably take McGregor.

Did you see where I said McGregor was our best defensive player ??
