Celtic eye sensational swoop for Fulham goal machine Moussa Dembele

I am not sure how good this guy is but I thought it was the Spurs midfielder and nearly S**t myself.:) That would have been a worrying transfer.

I will be VERY surprised if he ends up at Celtic - in January, and since, there have been many rumours of EPL interest in Dembele.

Nicky Clark joins Bury

Former Ranger striker Nicky Clark has joined the Shakers on a two-year deal.

Bury FC have beaten off competition from a host of clubs in our attempts to sign former Rangers striker Nicky Clark, and we are absolutely delighted to reveal that Nicky has joined the club after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal.

Bellshill born striker Nicky Clarke was released by Rangers at the end of last season following their promotion to the Scottish Premier League. A product of the Aberdeen youth system, Nicky came through their Youth side and was named as an unused substitute during the 2008/09 season before signing a contract extension for the Dons for the following season, however the following season he joined Peterhead on loan in search of regular first team football.

Aberdeen released him at the end of the 2009/10 season and he quickly agreed a deal to join Peterhead on a full time basis. Nicky stayed there for just 12 months before joining Queen of the South where he was to link up with his father Sandy, who took over the assistant manager role. He enjoyed a fruitful season, scoring 41 goals from 47 appearances, included in those goals was a strike in the Scottish Cup Final which saw Queen of the South lift the trophy as well as the Second Division title.

In May 2013, Nicky signed a three-year contract with Rangers, where he scored on his debut after just 30 Seconds, in a 5-0 win against East Fife. Nicky would go onto make 102 appearances for Rangers, scoring 23 goals before he was released at the end of last season.

Nicky will link up with his new team mates on Monday when the players return for pre-season training. We’ll also have full reaction from manager David Flitcroft on Shakers Player HD and YouTube. Nicky's registration with Bury is of course subject to the club receiving International Clearance from the Scottish FA.

Good luck down there!

Rangers weigh up move for Lee Hodson

RANGERS are weighing up a move for Lee Hodson.

Boss Mark Warburton is on the hunt for cover in both full-back positions.

And MK Dons right-back Hodson could fit the bill — as he can also play as a left-back.

Northern Ireland star Hodson spent the second half of last season on loan at Kilmarnock.

But Ibrox gaffer Warbs knows him well, after working with Hodson while he was coming through the youth ranks at Watford.

He also spent time on loan at Brentford while Warburton was sporting director at Griffin Park.

Hodson, 24, was with the Northern Ireland squad at the Euros, but never made it off the bench in any of their four games in France.

MK Dons, relegated from the English Championship last season, are thought to be aware of Gers’ interest in Hodson.

He has a year left on his current deal at Milton Keynes, and any move would depend on how much they hold out for.

" Rangers have flown out to America today for a pre-season tour, and Warburton spoke at the airport this morning to confirm that a new signing could be on the way this week, despite the Gers boss being away from Glasgow.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Warburton admitted that a mystery player who has been at Euro 2016 could sign for Rangers in the coming days, with Rangers pushing to complete a deal - and he wants a couple more new signings the coming weeks to finish his work off. "

Now that NI are out of the Euros I expect the deal to be tied up soon.

Also no further forward with Mariappa, however a striker has been identified and talks will commence soon.
