'The strength of Scottish football'

Recommended Posts

If English has any pretension to being a journalist, he should know that Warburton v Rodgers is a great story, one

of significance to Scottish fitba', and one which he should be glad to see running for the whole season, if not more,

(Red Imps result notwithstanding).

However he takes, avidly, the BBC (Scotland) shilling. and its editorial line, which may be summarised as

"Rangers is bad". We should expect, therefore, nothing but negativity at best, open hostility at worst from this

preening and posturing prick, a company man to the bottom of his publicly filled purse.

he's an absolute cretin

he is just dying for someone to leap in and start abusing him so he can play the victim card

Leave him alone. He's upset.

His team got beat by amateurs in the CL last night & big bad Rangers are back in the top division and sold 41k ST's.

Maybe English is just smarter than I am because i'm not grasping his logic. Warburton and Weir signing extensions isn't relevant to Scottish football but Waghorn and Tavernier not signing extensions is?

Is that what he is saying?

yes, it is..........not at all surprising

I would love to see him justify why it is irrelevant. Sometimes he sounds quite reasonable but then he says stupid sh*t like this and he comes more across as a man with an agenda who will let that agenda drive him to spout nonsensical nonsense.

English is one in amongst the cabal who most certainly ARE working to an agenda. When it comes to matters Rangers he has zero credibility.

Talking of bitterness.

I note Neil Lennon was sent to the stand last evening. His first game in charge of Hibs and he throws the toys out of the pram over a disallowed goal. There will be another Referees' strike.

The strength of Scottish football this week; only Aberdeen notched against some mob from the Baltic, the other three failed to score.
