If he was doing so well...why did they sack him???

They sacked him because the owners wanted a big name in.

 

It's telling that the fans were still behind him.

 

That's not to say that he wouldn't be a bit of risk for our club, but I'd be happy enough if we went for him. Certainly better than many other candidates, although there may be too many similarities to the Warburton situation for some.

Caixinha now down as low as 8/13 @Wm Hill

 

Rowett has come right in, now as low as 2/1, with Betfair and Wm Hill

 

Eck: as low as 6/4 (Betfair exchange), and as high as 10/1 @Wm Hill

 

Keep your wallets in your pockets may be the best advice.

The season before Rowett took over at Burton Albion they were 17th and he took them to the play-offs the following season.

 

Likewise at Birmingham they just avoided relegation and he took them to 10th the following season and they were lying 7th with resources much less than many other clubs in the division when he was sacked.

 

Sounds like Warburton's resume :ninja:
